This is a beautiful hotel and reviews that say anything else are being way too picky. Price is low for the area. Parking is extra but most hotels downtown charge for parking. Restaurants are close by. They provide a private van that will take you anywhere in a 3 mile radius of the hotel, which encompasses, The Georgia Aquarium, Coke... More

The hotel staff is superb! LJ at the front desk is very personable and takes care of all guests. All of the other staff is also caring and looking to make your stay the best possible. Our room was clean. I loved the seating area with a large L-shaped sofa and ottoman for casual conversations. I was also impressed with... More

I love Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. I had high hopes for this hotel and for the most part, they didn't disappoint. The property is a bit more rundown than other Hyatt Place's I've stayed at. That being said, it is clean, the beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is great, and the staff is super friendly. The bathrooms are... More

I really like the Hyatt Place product. Their brand standards are normally reliable. The beds + sectional + functional room + kitchenette is very innovative and customer friendly. When given the opportunity, even when I am on the company expense account, I often choose this option over a full service hotel. Having said that, the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Downtown fell far... More

First I want to say this is by far the best and friendliest staff I have ever come across. From the desk staff to the shuttle drivers. Take advantage of the shuttle to get to local attractions. Even a free service to the zoo. Breakfast was good and eggs were not powdered as in some other chains. The only con... More

Business trip and must I say, we only had one small complaint. The weather was beyond nice for this time of year, so we opened the window, but not for long, restaurant smell from next door restaurant, Max Lagers, didn't allow us to leave the window open for very long. So really no problem, carpet clean, room clean and nice... More

First time visit to Atlanta. Location to World of Coke, Aquarium, and Olympic park great. Parking expensive at hotel but worth the money for safety. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathtub/shower toilet area was extremely small. I am not pint sized and I was struggling with comfort in that area. The breakfast was nice and seating was ample.... More

Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast included, very comfortable rooms and large bed. 24 hour freshly cooked food pick up service at the lobby. Near downtown. The parking fee is $22 a night (a little expensive), but overall a very good service. 5 min drive to CNN HQ and the Georgia Aquarium- World of Coca-Cola complex. Enjoyed our stay.

The Hyatt Place - not to be confused with the Hyatt Regency - they are only a block or two apart, is a renovated older hotel that is close to the Centennial Olympic Park, Coca Cola Museum, The Georgia Aquarium and The Center for Civil Rights. It has a decent breakfast, friendly hotel clerks and secure parking. Parking is $22... More

you will like this place. The bathrooms are tiny! As previous reviewers have said, this is the biggest negative. The beds are comfortable, the free breakfast pretty good and the free shuttle is an awesome way to get around the downtown attractions. I didn't like paying $22 a night for parking but you pay for parking anywhere in the downtown... More
