Our room in the "Carriage House" was large and comfortable, with ample space to eat, prep food, relax on the couch, and sleep in the separate bedroom on the king sized bed. We enjoyed the privacy offered by this space. Breakfasts were large, rich, and delicious. We enjoyed our omelets, bacon, pancakes, and side dishes. The property is well landscaped... More

My wife and I stayed here last year for our anniversary and loved it. It's a great spot near Grant Park and the zoo and it fits the area. We LOVED all the animals - Tullulah, Sherman the goats and the turkeys and chickens. Plus the cats in the house were friendly, too. Kristy is great as well - she... More

Greeted by the Cheval/Nigerian goats, various chickens, Spanish black turkeys - all within the farm fence. Then taken to our room by a Batman, the rescue kitty, since we were early. This alone would have my positives. But Kristy is a joy to talk with and she makes a mean French toast. We got bumped up to the suite on... More

This Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem. We have stayed in the Carriage House and in the Rooster Cottage, and both stays have exceeded expectations. The owner is extremely accomodating and a pleasure to chat with! The Social Goat is very convenient to downtown, but is still a wonderful get away. We loved the goats, chickens, turkeys and cats.... Such a great stay. Such an antidote to the city. We were absolutely tickled with our stay in the Carriage House at The Social Goat. We stayed in more expensive lodgings later on, but this was our favorite breakfast of the trip. Our dining companions were German nephrologists in town for a convention and they, too, were enjoying something off... More

This was our first stay at a B&B and I don't think it could get any better. The farm feel in the middle of a major city is very unique. The animals were cute and relaxing after a long day of traveling. We stayed one night as we were just passing through Atlanta on our way to the mountains of... More

I was in Atlanta for DragonCon which was held in a large hotel/convention site. It was a fun event, but noisy 24/7 and expensive. The Social Goat was a great retreat. It was easy to get to public transportation, but the owner took me to registration the first day so I wouldn't have trouble finding it. My room was clean... More

I recently stayed at the Social Goat Bed and Breakfast and had a lovely time. My mother, my husband and I stayed in the Cottage and found the amenities quite charming. I didn't think to bring coffee for the morning or tea for the evening so I would remind anyone staying at the cottage to bring a few staples as... More

We had a bit of a nightmare journey getting to Atlanta, but as soon as we arrived here it was all forgotten! The room (the Carriage House) was absolutely wonderful - we both decided we could happily live there permanently. A large comfy bed, stylish furniture, a private porch, a kitchen and a view of the animals made for a... More
