My boyfriend and I came to Atlanta for an engagement party, and we decided to make a little trip out of it. This was our first time staying at a B&B in stead of a hotel, and we were thrilled with our decision to try something new! We stayed at the Royal Suite but I think all the rooms looked... More

We arrived at the Sugar Magnolia after dropping our son off for a month long sleep away camp in Cleveland, Ohio. From the moment we walked in the stress melted away. The owner was so very pleasant always making sure we had what we needed. Kathryn, the innkeeper is truly amazing. Walking downstairs to a delicious homemade breakfast and her... More

I stay at Sugar Magnolia at least once a year. They are located in the historic Inman park area which is centrally located and only a short distance to the nearest Marta station. I love the quiet serenity of the place considering its located in one of the busiest urban areas in the country. The service is top notch Kathryn... More

Unless you need to stay in town, I recommend this B&B. We were here for a convention & were just a short train ride away. It's a beautiful home with a great Innkeeper - Kathryn...beautiful area, great restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and there is plenty of parking. Our convention was very large so getting food...either a snack or a... More

I stayed in the Garden Suite in Sugar Magnolia Bed and Breakfast on a beautiful summer's night. The Garden Suite was so pretty, opening onto a garden balcony, and the comfy bed made for sweet dreams! The home is gorgeous and welcoming, and so close to downtown Atlanta, yet it feels worlds away with the beautiful tree lined streets of... More

We loved the building's charm and elegance, delicious breakfasts, very welcomimg and accommodating hosts, beautiful grounds and gardens, and cleanliness. We stayed in the cottage in the back; very romantic. The only downside - loft bedroom was just a bit too cozy for my husband. At 6' 2" he kept bumping his head on the low ceiling and grumbled about... More

Visited in mid June of 2015. A three-day stay. A grand old turn of the century (19th to 20th) inn located in the Inman neighborhood. This area is the exact opposite of what many think of when considering Atlanta -- traffic, noise, congestion. A beautiful mix of Victorian and Craftsman homes and newly built row houses reminiscent of London. Restaurants... More

Stayed fo a weekend get away with my mother. We stayed in the Royal Suit which had a private balcony. Great for people watching as the neighborhood has some bike and pedestrian traffic. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood as the homes are all beautiful in that area. All treated us like we were old friends and were very welcoming.... More

Kathryn chief cook, bottle washer and story teller is a delight. This beautiful home built in 1892 is very well cared for. Breakfast for our three days was delicious variety. You can expect top kindness, service and fairness from her, and she was a great listener for all my stories. The home is centrally located in a historic district--so close... More

My husband and I recently shared our "pre-anniversary" celebration by staying in the Royal Suite. The room is beautiful! I especially enjoyed sitting on the private balcony off the bedroom having my morning coffee...very relaxing. Kathryn made waffles for breakfast and they were awesome! She is very sweet and aims to please! I must also mention Stephen for my in-room... More
