I, too, was concerned after reading other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Check in took about 5 minutes,We were given a room on the 65th floor and the elevator arrived within a minute each time we needed it. Our room was wonderful and the carpet and wallpaper seemed to have been replaced recently. Yes, we had to pay to park,... more

I arrived at the Westin on Friday for a weekend getaway, and after reading some of the reviews, I was somewhat nervous about how it would go. Anyway check in was a breeze and the Front Desk associate was extremely friendly. Next there was no wait for the elevators. The room had new carpet in it and new Heavenly Beds,... more

This hotel is not like the other ones we have stayed in. When we first got there we were put in our room , Then it started to rain, our window leaked like a faucet, we asked to be moved to another room, they did so, but you would at least think they would of offered something for our trouble... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night when we had an engagement downtown and did not want to drive home that night. We had a room on one of the highest floors and the view was nice. The room was ok- clean, but nothing special. The bathroom seemed a little small, but again was clean. We had a... more

I have been a loyal Westin customer for some time and I have always enjoyed my stays there, however this Westin really let me down. When I came to check in the line was ridiculously slow with only two people attending. Upon check-in I requested a dog bed and bowls (they did not acknowledge the fact that I put that... more

It's difficult to find even with a GPS navigator. This is supposed to be a 4 star but they have cut back so much and it is readily apparent. They have plastic cheap glasses like the ones you see at Super 6 and other budget hotels. It took 25 minutes to checkin as there was only one receptionist. Imagine that... more

My family of four traveled to Atlanta to watch an Atlanta Hawks basketball game. We wanted to stay within walking distance to Philips Arena, so we booked one night at the Westin through Expedia.com. We were delighted to find valet parking attendants who were friendly and timely in taking care of our vehicle. We were impressed upon entering the Westin's... more

While it is true this Westin could really do with some remodeling of the rooms, it makes up for in other areas. Very, very clean with extremely comfortable bed. We parked the first day at the hotel and either walked or rode the Marta train everywhere we went. We were upgraded to a mini suite which was a nice surprise.... more
