My stay included four days over the July 4th holiday and I was very pleased with the JW. I must admit the Price was Right since I used Reward points. The room was excellent and the staff very friendly. The self-parking was $20/day but I accepted this as a convenience item and a car safety benefit. The room (on 20th... more

The JW is in a perfect location in Buckhead. I stayed here with family during the Fourth of July weekend for the Peachtree Road Race and Lenox fireworks. The hotel is adjacent to Lenox mall and the Lenox MARTA station, making it very accessible and convenient. The hotel staff was able to quickly accommodate our every request, including getting both... more

My family and I recently stayed at the JW Marriott (June 5 - 7) and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was courteous and professional. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean. The breakfast bar in the restaurant is absolutely fabulous. I'm really not a morning food person, but it was so good that we ate their both mornings.... more

They need to change the flag on this hotel to a Fairfield Inn or something of a similar calibre. Overall this hotel is not managed as a premium property and I would recommend that Marriott bring in a management team that knows how to run a real high end hotel. I am sure the neighboring Ritz, and the W are... more

Staff and location were good and the courtesy car was a definite plus. This is one JW property that is in desperate need of a renovation. Nice enough if you are used to Fairfield Inn, but no where near the quality of other JW Marriott properties we have previously stayed at. more

Hi, I am from Mumbai, and have had to go for work to Atlanta a few times. Why I recommend the Marriot at Buckhead is: Easy to reach. From the airport, there is a speedway going right through the city. We took the Buckhead exit and reached the hotel without any problems. Good for work: My office in Atlanta is... more

I spent 2 nights at the JW Marriott Buckhead and was very pleased. I received a very reasonable corporate rate. The king room was spacious. The bed was wonderful. The room was very clean and I loved having a separate tub/shower in the bathroom. I would agree with the previous reviewer that the lighting was a little darker that I... more

I stayed in this hotel for four days in March, although a business trip I had to stay in Atlanta over the weekend. The Marriott worked out really well. They had a $169 offer which included bed and breakfast for two people which I thought was a really good deal. There is a door from the hotel which leads you... more

I’ve stayed at this property twice in 2008. I was disappointed on both occasions and surprised that Bill Marriott allows this hotel to use the JW Marriott moniker. It is an uninspired business hotel. Common areas and hotel rooms are worn and dated and are in need of remodeling. Beds were good, bathroom showed signs of mildew in the shower.... more

I recently stayed at the JW Buckhead for a conference/training session and had a great stay. Not sure what's with all the negative reviews as it wasn't my experience at all. Staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our weeklong stay and made sure all our training needs and accomodations were met from check-in thru check-out. I left my... more
