a bit of a hidden gem. Lovely spacious cottages in a proper village with shops, very friendly owners, pretty gardens and pool area and fantastic mountain views. Difficult to fault. I guess a BBQ would have been useful as we like to cook outside in hot weather Went with Inntravel who were great.

A lovely village and the house they gave us was good too. But above all Isabel and her team are efficient helpful and very determined to make sure that you get what you want. A real joy. And the weather was nice too.

We loved staying here. The 2 bedroomed cottage was perfect for our family of 5 (2 kids and 1 baby). They provided a travel cot and on seeing the age of our baby (8 months), we were quickly given a high chair without even having to ask. The welcome package was excellent and quite substantial. The facilities in the cottage... More

I almost don't want to write this review, just incase lots of people discover such a beautiful gem and this place becomes so popular we can never book in to stay again! We stayed at Casas de Montejaque recently and are nothing but complimentary. We arrived via malaga airport, hired a small car and made our way up into the... More

We booked 4 nights and payed in advance a deposit at La posada in Montejaque. When we arrived there was no room for us and the agent didn't expect us. We had to wait at the pool when they cleaned the room. For one night we got an appartment which had no terrace and was not poolside. The other day... More

We (my wife and me) just came back from Casas de Montejaque. What more can you say? Our attick room with fireplace was lovely, although a bit cold in this time of the year. We gladly lit the €7 wood in the fireplace during the evening and we sat ourselves down in front of the fire. Everything was nice, The... More

We very much enjoyed our stay (again) - if you are looking for a quiet rural getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the beachside hotels this is perfect. Great walks (or runs if feeling keen) and very well placed for day trips. Cristobel and Isabella ensure a very warm and friendly welcome and after that it is very... More

Poolside apartments gave us fantastic location for visiting the area around Ronda. Kids enjoyed pool and apartments were very good and had everything you need for self catering. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Village of Montejaque is in a stunning location with views of the surrounding mountains from the high view point - well worth the wee walk.... More

The poolside apartments are lovely. Ours was quite spacious with a separate bedroom. The apartments nicely located within Montejaque so you have some restaurants, the bakery, ATMs, shops within walking distance. Good location to visit Ronda from, as well as other nearby villages (we liked Zahara de la Sierra), Sevilla and Cordoba.

A very good accomodation indeed. It is situated in the heart of the beautiful and friendly village of Montejaque, a 'pueblo blanco' lying in a sheltered mountain valley and surrounded on all sides by impressive Karst rocks. Ideal as a point of departure for Ronda, and also for visiting the many white villages in the neighboring sierras -like Grazalema. We... More
