Having heard about this hotel I decided to take my wife as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. It was a choice between the new Sunborn in Gibralter and Molino. We were not disappointed. The hotel does exactly "what it says on the tin". Owners and staff are friendly and helpful. the location excellent accommodation and food very good. Will... More

We travel a lot & we like to travel to small independent boutique hotels. We were told from a couple of friends how fantastic the food a small friendly hotel. As we drove into the entrance it didn't look very pretty we drove past a derelict building & a couple of scruffy building. But don't let that put you off... More

We are a little off the beaten track but we do hope the effort to find us is worthwhile. You are certain of a very warm welcome... More

Molino is delightful in every way - very friendly owners and staff, comfortable stylish rooms, excellent restaurant, beautiful gardens and pool and wonderful mountains all round you. I was horrified to see an unfavourable report, not at all true. In June we made our 20th visit (in 24 years!), which I think shows what a lovely place it is to... More

I guess every small hotel could list a few people who are more than special in the positive energy they bring with them and for us Helen and Simon are right up there amongst the very loveliest guests that anyone could wish to have. 20 visits in 24 years is an awful lot but everyone at Molino knows that these... Wow !! from the moment you walk through the big wooden gate, you know you have found paradise. The sound of trickling water coming from the many water features, the amazing colours of the well kept gardens, and the extremely warm welcome you receive from all the staff, make the start of your stay unforgettable. Once you have settled in... More

No other hotel stirs such strong emotions in me as the Molino de Santo and I suspect I am far from alone in feeling this way. The hotel is a living, breathing tribute to 30 years or so of dedication by Andy, Pauline and their remarkable team towards creating a genuine oasis from the rigours of everyday life. We do... More

We stayed here for the night of my husband's birthday in order to have dinner in the restaurant having previously sampled a delicious lunch. Our superior room was very comfortable and perfectly acceptable for a 2 star hotel. Dinner was delicious and the setting gorgeous. We spend half our year in Andalucia and, unlike a previous reviewer, regard this as... More

The Molino del Santo is hidden away but not too far from beautiful Ronda. Once you enter the main gateway you enter a world of tranquillity and the sound of splashing .water. Warmth of welcome is guaranteed. Rooms are old world and very comfortable. Cuisine is excellent and if like me you are a vegetarian you can be sure that... More

You felt the tension sap away the moment we walked into the hotel and it didn't disappoint at any level we arrived for lunch it was great. Service was great from there on. The room was nice and quiet and cool just a short walk to the fantastic pool. When it came to leave the staff helped and didn't rush... More

Thank you Stuart and Max for your very kind words. I am delighted that we were able to offer you to stay in your room beyond normal check-out time so that you could enjoy a paella before catching the train. Paellas are best eaten at lunchtime in my - and the locals' - opinion. A bottle of Rosado wine, some... More

One hour from the tourist inferno of Ronda this fabulous British owners hotel offers peace, spacious clean rooms, a huge cool pool and lots of good vibrations. Stay here at least one night - and remember to have dinner in the excellent restaurant.

Thank you for your taking the time to write this review for us. The hotel gardens and the terrace are absolutely beautiful, as is the pool area with its lush flower beds and lawns. Unfortunately though, for me, this was the only positive of our stay at this hotel. The actual location of the hotel is not great and please don’t think you’ll be staying in a charming white village because you won’t!... More
