We originally booked five nights at Hotel Carmen, but stayed on for another two, as we were having such a chilled out break. Our terrace overlooked the pool area and surrounding countryside and we saw some beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The hotel owners are so helpful and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed wandering around the small town of... More

We booked this hotel because we were going to a wedding at a Hacienda just down the road. It was perfectly situated on the road into Prado de Rey, with good parking at the front. We had a smallish but comfortable double room at the back of the hotel with its own terrace looking down onto the fabulous pool that... More

Quiet, gorgeous views, and a very traditional Spanish feel. The hotel staff is very gracious and helpful. The pool is so refreshing on the hot... More

We stopped here on a bike tour en route from the Via Verde to Zahara. Rooms were somewhat small and dark, but had a large balcony with a great view of the hills and a nice-looking pool area (it was too cold to swim when we were there). The town of Prado del Rey is a 15 walk uphill from... More

Ask for the room with the balcony and a great view to vineyards and mountain! Order some "tapas" at hotel bar, let them bring it to your room and enjoy the view and the meal all at once! Wake up in the morning (but not before 10 a.m. :-) ) and jump into the swimming pool! Then try some of... More
