Shhh! Grazalema is the hidden gem of Spain, and Ane and Andres’s little B&B is the heart of this jewel and the perfect spot for the wanderer to discover, and from which to explore the little village and the surrounding mountain region. Shhh! The local goat cheese and lamb chops, and honey, and fresh caught mountain trout at the restaurants... More

We spent a very enjoyable week at La Mejorana in June 2014. Andres and Ana could not have been more welcoming and Andres was a fount of knowledge concerns walks in and around Grazalema. Although only described as a B&B we could access our room at any time of the day and were invited to bring our own drinks and... More

Andreas and Ana are so helpful and welcoming, and can't do enough to make your stay perfect. They even printed out our Guardian crossword as we were getting withdrawal symptoms! We intend to return soon - when the weather is a little cooler. Thank goodness for aircon in the bedroom. Beautiful gardens, clean, modern bathrooms and an exceptional breakfast selection.I... More

Grazalema is a beautiful town well worth a few days to relax or walk around the hills. There are some lovely self guided walks and also longer ones that require a guide. I enjoyed a walk suggested by the owner of La Mejorana which was not too difficult. La Mejorana is the perfect place to stay with lovely large rooms... More

La Mejorana is a quiet rural retreat in the Sierra de Grazalema. The beautiful house is modern but has been lovingly renovated to reflect the unique cultural aspects of the region. Andres is a warm, kind and caring host, and provided us with much helpful advice. We based here to visit Ronda and Zahara de la Sierra. La Mejorana had... More

Met at the door by the owner with the best glass of red wine I've drunk and a plate of cheese & breads. Lovely room overlooking pool and town. The owner couldn't have done any more for us. He packed our lunch for our hike & included a small bottle of red. Huge spread for breakfast. I would highly recommend... More

We have just spent a week at this small hotel, walking in the utterly lovely limestone countryside. Grazalema itself is a beutiful unspoilt white town. This hotel is thoroughly excellent at its price level. The rooms are simple but comfortable, most have sitting areas with French windows or balconies with magnificent views. The public areas including the breakfast terrace are... More

We spend a lot of time in hotels and this is one of the best. It helps that it's in a lovely village in breathtaking countryside but the hotel is still really special. Andres and Anna are delightful, welcoming and full of helpful advice. The rooms are great and the views from the balconies are out of this world.

We lucked into a last minute booking for 3 nights in January, and we loved this place. Beautiful, clean and comfortable house, lovely town, excellent hiking. Breakfast is included, wonderful bed and shower, beautiful views, good wifi. Above all, Andres is a phenomenal host -- super friendly, full of great suggestions, a joy. Our time here was rainy, so we... More

Very good quality and price! The owner is very helpfull and provided us with many good tips for hikes and places to visit in the area. He is obviously an hiker himself, because he has detailed information about many tracks. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included, and on request one can order extra's like fresh fruit, tomato's and cheese (costs... More
