Every room is unique and D3 are the perfect hosts - there for the guests, friendly and helpful, but not in your face telling you what you "have to " do or see. When we were looking for a B&B in Vermont, so many were just too cute. The Woodstocker has its own unique character. The rooms are delightful -... more

A certain urban edginess has descended upon the bucolic Vermont town of Woodstock. Innkeepers Dora, David and dog Daisy clearly aim to surprise and delight. Everything from the colourful (their spelling) decor to the vast, eclectic library to the best breakfasts (predominately organic ingredients) in Vermont reflect an obvious desire to make a stay memorable. Their British roots show with... more

We were indulged at this Inn with luxurious cotton duvets, bathrobes, and towels, not to mention organic soap products. The rooms also have flat screen televisions, hairdryers, and (upon request) buckwheat pillows. Guests can feel at home using the library (reading room) and small kitchenette next to it, where coffee, tea, and homemade treats are available. The breakfast was delicious... more

I had a brief but great stay at the Woodstocker. The innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating, the room and inn were clean and well-lit and it's conveniently located within a short walk to town. The made-to order breakfast was also very good. If I had one complaint/suggestion it would be that I felt ~$200 for a single night is... more

This is our third stay at the Woodstocker Inn with David and Dora as the innkeepers. They never fail to provide the most comfortable and relaxing vacation. The room is fabulous and clean, the breakfast is superb, and the innkeepers are so friendly and easy-going. We also love their newest addition, Daisy Doo, a very docile, sweet dog! Thank you... more

My wife and I travel quite a bit on our motorcycles around the country. For my birthday, we planned a weekend of wandering New England with no specific destination in mind and on the recommendation of a local in Woodstock ended up at the Woodstocker Inn. As motorcyclists, it's sometimes a bit difficult to find "upscale" lodging when arriving on... more

I really loved staying at the Woodstocker Inn. The lodging was very comfortable. The rooms were beautifully and individually decorated and the inn had lovely common spaces, including a great library. The hosts are incredibly gracious and helpful. The inn also is conveniently located within a very short walk of downtown Woodstock (around five minutes). I definitely would stay there... more

We have stayed at The Woodstocker several times now and plan on returning many more! The rooms are wonderfully comfortable and each has so many distinctive touches. David and Dora are lovely hosts - helpful, welcoming, amusing, and warm - and make you feel as if you are at your home away from home without ever being intrusive. The breakfasts... more

Just got back from a long weekend at the Woodstocker and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The inn is decorated in an ecclectic, comfortable style, with spacious rooms, gorgeous baths and relaxing common areas, included a very well stocked library. Dora and David were very accomodating hosts, offering delicious breakfasts, knowledgable recommendations and witty conversation! I have rarely stayed at a... more
