We were only able to stay one evening during the high season, but it was lovely nonetheless. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved the little special touches, including charming framed prints, a little rubber ducky in the bathroom, and chocolate bars! I thought the bathroom was very cute with tiled bathtub. Even though we were off the main... More

I loved everything about this place and did not want to leave. The owners have a delightful sense of humor which imbues everything from the style and design, the no-shoes policy (which really makes the house quieter and puts all the guests on the same footing, so to speak) to the delish food. I loved the kitchen where we could... More

The Woodstocker differs from other inns in the same price bracket. David and Dora add a very personal (and British, but -lucky us- not the traditional kind) touch to an excellent hospitality experience. The no outdoor shoes policy is sympathetic (and mitigates the burden of cleaning). Rooms are spacious and not filled with antiques, which actually adds to comfort. The... More

What a great place! I was booked in while attending a wedding and had a wonderful time. The innkeepers were very hospitable: they were thoughtful, welcoming and accommodating. The Inn is right on River Street making it an easy walk to town where you can shop, if you like. The rooms were lovely and nicely appointed with plenty of pillows,... More

We only had a brief visit - from one evening to the next morning ... - each minute of that brief visit calmed our souls and eased our minds ... the soaking tubs (claw footed and side by side) were soothing with aromatherapy oil provided - charming light patterns on the walls (moose / stars) in the tiles bath ...very... We are delighted that these clients had a great stay and a wonderful sleep, but feel they may have misunderstood TA overall ratings system and thus the 1* rating is in an error. From their positive comments you can make your own conclusions..... More

Location is ideal, walking distance to shops and restaurants and on a quiet street. Owners go out of their way to accommodate the guests. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the only disappointment...not your typical "American" breakfast, definitely "British". But we would definitely stay there again :-)

My husband and I headed to Woodstock for a cycling race and stayed just one night at the Woodstocker Inn. Dora and David were very accommodating allowing us early check in and arranging for us to have a nice breakfast prior to our race. We needed to be out earlier than the designated breakfast time so Dora left us breakfast... More

Just spent a night in Woodstock at the Woodstocker Inn. The Innkeepers, Dora and David, were so kind to us. They upgraded our room, allowed us to check in early because we had indicated that we would be arriving in town in the late morning and made great recommendations on what we could do while we were in town. We... More

This was a real nice bed and breakfast in a quaint New England village. It was attractive, clean and comfortable. it was also within walking distance of downtown Woodstock. Plus, the owners, Dora and David, were very friendly and interesting to talk with about travel, etc. All in all, a great place to stay.
