We received a warm welcome for our two night stay - and friendly service and advice throughout. The room was spacious and homely. The breakfasts were truly exceptional. We would have loved to have stayed for longer. The location wasn't really walkable to the centre of Woodstock in the evening, but was only a short drive.

This place is so beautiful with the floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the dining room. Our room, Clara's Corner, was quiet, secluded, had a great gas fireplace and a soaking tub separate from the stone/tile shower. I didn't understand what everyone was saying about breakfast until I experienced it myself. Unbelievable! We have stayed at so many B&B's over... More

My husband and I stayed there for one night and loved it. The Inn is so pretty. Everything was lovely and pristine. The owners had a delicious piece of cake waiting for us when we arrived as we told them it was our anniversary . They were very cordial and welcoming. It was a cold night but we were warm... More

As everyone pointed out, this is the cleanest hotel most people will ever encounter. Quality of materials and fixtures is impeccable. The focus clearly is on creating an unforgettable experience. Breakfast is part of that experience. Two gourmet courses daily, all in front of a large picture window. Ingredients are local, most from organinic farms.

When we stayed at the Jackson House Inn a few years ago, we knew we'd be back - there was no question. The breakfasts were so unbelievable and the service was just as amazing. I can say that nothing has changed since we were last there! The food was just as amazing as we remembered! Rick has such passion for... More

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with a 4 night stay. The inn is a short drive to the center of Woodstock making it a perfect location for day trips or simply spending a quiet day away from it all. The Innkeepers, Rick and Kathy have created a wonderful environment to relax and call home for a few... More

We just returned from our third stay at the Jackson House Inn, and it gets better every time. The charm alone of the house and the property make it an extremely unique and pleasant experience, but what puts it over the top and sets it apart from other locations is the friendliness and warmth of Kathy and Rick Terwelp -... My husband and I just returned from a perfect long weekend in VT at the Jackson House Inn!! We truly cannot wait to visit again and are already scheming trips to experience it in spring, summer, and fall. Tip of the iceberg, what we loved: 1. Beautiful, beautiful house, grounds, and rooms. Everything about the Inn is tasteful, well appointed,... More

This lovely inn is a mix of old and new. Decorated with charm, this inn is a reflection of the inn keepers, a reflection of days gone by and a taste of blending new and old for the comfort of their guests. The rooms are comfortable, beds, linens and towels ... All making for a delightful experience. The inn keepers... More

It was indeed our pleasure to host your night in Woodstock with friends - and we are happy to have added to your special time at the fireplace. Your mention of the balance of old vs. new is appreciated. Our inn is definitely anchored by a structure built in 1890 with gorgeous wood to treasure and a sense of history... More

This is our second time we have stayed at Jackson House Inn and it just gets better and better. Let me start off with the most important...the breakfast! Come hungry, and you'll definitely leave more than happy! Rick's passion for cooking really shines through in every bite! The meals are creative, and sourced as locally as possible. If you're looking... More
