We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Applebutter Inn very much. Barbara and Michael are wonderful innkeepers. The breakfasts were fantastic and the towels were incredible! All in in all - a very comfortable and inviting place to stay. more

What a wonderful experience for my family of four. We shared the Cameo suite, which Michael and Barbara thoughtfully supplied with a portable crib and fold out twin bed for my little ones. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accomodate this, the king sized bed, us and all our stuff. The breakfasts were delicious and capitalized on the local... more

I stayed in the Baldwin room for two nights. It was like I was in a cocoon, and I mean that in the most positive way. I was taking a class at nearby King Arthur Flour and between a day of baking and a night of work I actually got some sleep in a very comfortable bed and felt relaxed.... more

What a charming and quaint B&B! We arrived early on a crisp cold evening, and was welcomed with tea and biscuits (not cookies!). The hosts are quiet but very sweet and we were left to our own devices much of the time. Breakfast was lovely, as was the room, although the bed a bit squeaky. No problem really. They had... more

This B&B is 200 feet from the historic and charming Taftsville Country Store (cheese and wines galore) and 200 more feet from the Taftsvalle Covered Bridge, dam, and river walk. We stayed for four days in the Cameo Room Downstairs, large private bath, storage everywhere, gas fireplace, TV, and excessively comfortable bed. The hosts are utterly charming, helpful, intelligent, witty,... more

The hosts were warm and welcoming. They were interested in us and wanted us to enjoy our stay not only with them but in New England. The breakfasts were beyond our expectations . . . gourmet from start to finish. Each breakfast was a three course event served in the candlelit dining room. Our beds were comfortable with crisp lovely... more

Barbara and Michael were the perfect hosts. Their B&B is exactly what we were looking for. A charming historic country cottage in a wonderful and gorgeous location only minutes from Woodstock, one of our favorite places in New England. Their reception was warm and welcoming with extra special treats left for us in celebration of our anniversary; we were treated... more
