Stayed during peak October season, so rates were high--$160 per nite with a 3-nite minimum stay required. Booked the last room available--apartment style room above two other rooms or apartments. Space was older but clean. Older full-sized bed was very uncomfortable--mattress kept falling down through frame and wouldn't stay up. the room was tiny. the bathroom even tinier. and we still were charged over $100. for what we got, it was too much. plus, the room stunk because they just replaced the carpet. we had to sleep with the window open and the manager couldn't get the heating to work.. we won't go back. more

The Pond Ridge Hotel has very clean, comfortable rooms, but they are rather small. They offer good value for the money, and they have a very nice backyard that backs up to a stream. more
