It is strange sometimes to experience exactly opposite of what you expected. Reading about the rooms, I thought they would perhaps be a bit tattered and not "four-star rated." Having eaten at the inn before, I was expecting excellent food in a great atmosphere with above-average service. I was wrong on both counts: the room was great - the Tavern... more

I stayed here with my wife back in 2004 in May and forgot to put in a review on this amazing beautifull hotel!! This inn is one of a kind with a walk way into a garden in front of the picturesque backdrop of soemthing not seen in many run of the mill hotels in this area. The town it... more

We stayed in the main inn in a classic double room. It accomodated my husband, myself, and our 2 kids. The bathroom was beautiful. Water just right. Ate a buffet for NY eve with kids and it was pretty good. (i did not expect 5 star at a family buffett NY eve at 7pm so it was okay for the... more

A fabulous weekend at the newly re-furbished Woodstock Inn. This marks our fifth trip to this lovely property and we were extremely impressed with the new room decor. Top notch ammenities and sparkling bathrooms. Staff was superb and accomodating. We had our two daughters (8 & 5) with us and they did not want to leave. Sledding, skating, swimming, sleigh... more

Recently stayed here with two other couples. We have all been to many fine hotels and thought this rated up there with the best of them. The rooms were big, and comfortable. The resort was lovely with a beautiful fireplace in the lobby. The gym, although a mile down the road was state of the art and wonderful. The breakfast... more

We stayed at the Woodstock for a Friday and Saturday night. Check in was a breeze, the room was very nice with an oversized bed and very nice kohler bathroom. We had a nice drink at the bar and enjoyed room service for dinner which the hotel offers little snack treats we had the bucket of wings and Long Trail... more

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at the Woodstock Inn. We felt the room was ridiculously overpriced (as was most of everything in the hotel). We stayed 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). We arrived around lunchtime on Thursday and decided to go to the hotel dining area for the buffet. What a joke. At $16.95 per person the... more

We stayed at this hotel for only one night as part of a trip through New England and Quebec. Our renovated room was the highlight of the hotel. Although it was a little narrow, the dark wood furniture was very attractive, comfortable, and the overall impression of the room was that it was more like a room in a nice... more

Just had a wonderful four nite stay at the Inn. We make it our annual pilgrimage and have stayed during every season. The room renovations were excellent. Bill the Bell Captain is a fixture and with his personal/professional attention makes a guest feel special, from desk check in was excellent and since we were celebrating a wedding anniversary we had... more
