My husband and I stayed at the Farmhouse Inn in October 2014: prime leaf season. What a beautiful, relaxing break from city life! The owners Tory and Barry were fantastic hosts and made sure were comfortable and well fed -- their breakfasts are unbeatable, homemade waffles, sausages, yogurt made from a neighbor's cow's milk, syrup tapped from the trees outside,... The Farmhouse was wonderful. I agree with all the already reported superlatives. Plus, it's not far from the town of Woodstock. Be sure and take the back road into town that Barry will describe for you-very tranquil and an instant taste of New England. On our arrival night we made a last minute decision not to go into town for... More

Hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniverasry at this charming farmhouse! It's our first time staying in a quaint bed and breakfast setting like this, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed our stay in this excellent farmhouse. Before we made our reservation, I did a lot of research to start with, there are plenty of... More

We have stayed in many B&B in the past, but this place is wonderful!! The scenery, the warmness of Barry and Tory was outstanding! The breakfasts were hearty and wonderful. The barn was my favorite place--- I have it as my screen saver on my phone!! The experience far exceeded our expectations! We HIGHLY recommend the Farmhouse. Will be back... More

We spent 2 nights with Barry and Tory in mid October during peak foliage season. They made us feel as if we were visiting with old friends as they chatted with us during leisurely breakfasts. The breakfasts were SPECIAL. It was locavore with a capital L as they served eggs from their chickens, maple syrup from their trees and home... More

We reserved this place over one month in advance during peak leaf peeping season. Most other places required two nights, the Farmhouse Inn was flexible for one night with a $50 increase on each room. The owners Tory and Barry (Baar) were great hosts and made sure were comfortable and well fed. We also got to meet some of the... More

We have stayed at many B&Bs, but the Farmhouse Inn was one of the most memorable places we have ever stayed at. Not only were we blown away with the charm and beauty of the Woodstock area, but Tory and Barry were exceptional hosts! They were so relaxed and personable and instantly made you feel like you were visiting old... More

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse Inn a few weeks ago (late September). It's the perfect place to relax and soak in Vermont's charm and beautiful fall colors. I agree with all the comments below - Tory and Barry are incredibly warm, genuine and helpful hosts, and their breakfasts (made with many local ingredients) are... More

All we can do is echo all the superlatives which have been stated before us. Tory and Barry were the best hosts ever - warm and easy to talk to, generous with their time and with recommendations for restaurants and activities. The history of the house and the property was fascinating and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of both. A... More

This was not like staying at a Bed and Breakfast – it was more like staying with good friends who have an awesome place with phenomenal food! Tory and Barry were just so warm and welcoming. When we first arrived, they gave us an extensive tour of the house and property. We received numerous tips on things to do in... More
