I was working in the area and my girlfriend was flying in to spend New Years with me. I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to propose and needed to find the perfect place. The Farmhouse Inn could not have been any better. We stayed for 2 nights over New Years and have made a memory we will never... More

We were planning a New Years get-a-way and we could not have found a more superior destination. We knew that flash flooding that hit the Woodstock area in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene decimating the local economy just before peak foliage season 2011. We wanted to support these hard working innkeepers and merchants, so we decided on the Farmhouse Inn... More

Let me add my voice to the chorus of those singing praises to the family who run this Inn. They could not have been more accommodating to the needs of several guests who were attending a yoga workshop nearby and needed to have breakfast AFTER the morning yoga session. They bought 'take away' containers and planned breakfasts for us to... More

This is the ultimate Vermont Bed and Breakfast experience. The location is perfect – a river in front and a majestic barn in back. My wife and I stayed in the Meadow Suite which offered a truly magnificent view. Tory and Barry were the perfect hosts and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable – so comfortable... More

My husband and I spent one night here during a long weekend in VT. Such a beautiful location, although it rained the entire time there. The house is large and comfy, with such great attention to detail! Our room was beautifully furnished and the bed was beyond amazing! Tory, Barry and Hannah are such gracious hosts, with great recommendations for... More

The best breakfast from a b&b ever! We felt welcome, like old friends or family. Tory, Barry, and Hannah opened their home and hearts to us. The barn is a wonder, the grounds and rooms are charming and well kept, and the animals entertaining. I can't wait to go back during ski season. Viva la Chickens! More

A group of gal friends and I spent a night here recently. What a wonderful find! Wonderful rooms, wonderful common space, wonderful food, wonderful location! Every part of our stay made us vow that we would be back. Our only disappointment was that the time was too short. More

Some friends and I stayed with Tory and Barry. It was delightful - from our room to the lovely bath products, the snacks, and then the to-die-for gourmet breakfast! Everything said "country hospitality." Tory even offered some organic rhubarb to me when I started discussing rhubarb jelly with her - and of course, eight beautiful jars now sit on my... More

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of staying three nights at the Farmhouse Inn in mid-July during a summer vacation driving tour through New England. When we travel we prefer to stay in B&Bs and small inns, and we stayed at several excellent, highly rated places on this trip, but the Farmhouse Inn was by far our favorite. Practically... More

I just spent a week with Tory and Barry at the Farmhouse Inn at Robinson Farm. They are such welcoming, laid-back, friendly people, and they made me feel like family, and were very helpful with advice on local activities, restaurants, and shopping. Besides the hospitality, I appreciated the (1) very comfortable bed; (2) very generous, homemade breakfasts; (3) espresso drinks... More
