Well, sometimes you have to be curious to find the true treasures life (including vacation) has to offer!!! Scrolling through the quaint village of Benehavis, a little mountain village filled with restaurants which, at least to us, all looked the same, we walked by the entrance of "Amanhavis Hotel & Restaurant" which looked oddly different. There wasn't much to see from... more

My lady and I always wanted to stay in a special hotel somewhere in Spain and after a lengthy search we found Hotel Amanhavis in Benahavis which said it also had a good restaurant. We obviously checked with Tripadvisor and found the vast majority having had a great time. So we booked on line for a 3 day short-stay and... more

Turning to Tripadvisor for some guidance where to stay on the Costa del Sol, we found Hotel Amanhavis in Benahavis. We checked out the professional website and decided to book three nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mr. Weber the owner of Amanhavis. He checked us in a fantastic room, in our case "The Horse Thief's hide out" which... more

Awsome, we traveled through Andalucia, not only for the sun, but also for that different experience. When we found Amanhavis on the internet, we thought this might just be it. WELL, we were not disappointed, what a treat, service, food, rooms and setting very even better than their personal website. We ate several times at this beautiful court-yard setting, it... more

We stayed at this hotel 5 years ago for three nights and ate in the restaurant which was just fabulous. Although we didn't stay at the hotel on this visit to Spain, we decided to eat at the restaurant for the last night of our holiday - hoping to have a repeat performance of the gastronomic delight we had previously... more

A party of four of us booked the Monastery’s Sanctuary and the Christopher Columbus Berth for one night. The latter stylised spacious Columbus room that we occupied was impressive and provided pleasant views to the north overlooking distant hills. The provision of high quality toiletries and luxury Mitre towels all contributed to providing a memorable stay and one that we... more

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in early April 2008, at the lovely Hotel Amanhavis, in Benahavis, Spain. The little town is 7 K north of the main Costa de Sol road, about 25 minutes from Marbella. The hotel is comprised of 9 rooms, each based on a historical theme of the area. The website gives pictures and... more

We stayed at the Amanhavis hotel from 3 April to the 10 April, 2007. We spotted it on Tripadvisor and fell in love with it instantly. It's in a tiny Spanish village, completely unspoilt and full of character and charm. We stayed in the Alchemist room. All the rooms are individually themed. There is a tiny pool, but I doubt... more

Just minutes away from the coast line, a small and terribly cute hotel in a mountain village of Benahavis. This hotel has interpreted the Andalucian history and put it into the hotel rooms. Never seen a small hotel with so much charme and elegance, yet attention to details. Hotel staff go out of their way to help, recommend and assist... more

We stayed in the Amanhavis for a week following reviews here. We were not disappointed. The whole setting is lovely, especially if you just want to get away from it all. The drive to it is very nice and it's hard to believe you're so close to places like Puerto Banus. The hotel itself is really special. We stayed in... more
