Our room was a little cramped, probably because the outdoor furniture had been moved inside off the balcony due to high winds. Huge king size bed, but with only two rather flat pillows. Good sized TV but only limited channels in English (mostly Italian - fair enough). Restaurant was busy and lively on our Saturday night stay, with the added... More

The hotel is not a new one, but renovated, clean and friendly staff, good price for what you get. Also campground attached, and great walking path over the hill, looking at the sea, and at Izola. There is also outdoor pool to cool off and good breakfast. A good spot to start off while exploring the coast of Slovenia, you... More

Together with the hotel, they have a camping site as well. I would not say the infrastructure is impressive but... We chose out pitch in the area they call "the olives", there is no electricity and need to walk a bit to the toilet facilities, but... You are surrounded by olive trees, you have a view over the sea and... More

I stayed alone for just one night at Villa Palma. The room was recently remodeled as it could be seen. The bathroom was really nice, only the furniture was old, but it doesn't matter - it was still ok. The only thing that bothered me was the matress which was probably old because it made noises when I moved. Anyway... More

Except the fabulous view on Izola from the top of the hill at the terrace of the restaurant, this is the worst camping we ever did. Stuck between 2 roads (highway on left, another smaller road on right with lights of cars and music of people crossing the camping all night....), with very loud music playing till midnight, we slept... Rooms were with bugs, toilette was really small and dirty, price was 100 Euros much cheaper on Booking.com, Breakfast was really bad and low quality. we were lucky to spend there only 1 night. the only good thing is the view from the restaurant terrace. Wi fi complicated to use and no one willing to explain...

For the 2nd year we come to Izola and Hotel Belvedere for our family vacation. Staying in one of appartments with the fantastic ocean view is really a treat. Nice and clean rooms with great service and friendly personel. Our kids really love the large pool area, but also the little bus trip to the nearby beach is great. Finally... More

The hotel is situated too far from Izola center and from the beach also. The shuttle service to the beach was not working in the middle of June. Our room was simple and not clean. Cobweb and spider everywhere. The garden of the hotel was well-kept. The buffet breakfast was generous, and from the restaurant is a breathtaking view of... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2013. We had a room in the Villa Loret. We loved this charming hotel / camp site combination, its great pool area, and the stunning views and walk down to the village of Izola. The restaurant was very nice, and the value for money is great! I would recommend anybody to walk... More
