Have just returned from a 14 day stay at this hotel. If you are expecting 4* you will be very disappointed. Maybe years ago when the hotel was new and clean it would have deserved a 4* rating, but certainly not now. 5th time at Canifor.Last year my stay was terrible.Had to wait for room.Wanted to move me to another hotel.The food was cold most of the time.This year could not fault.food wasgood and warm.The room was cleaned everday and the bedding and towels clean and changed regulary.It made for a good Holiday.

When I eventually got to my room after an 18 hour wait, the bed was full of cockroaches. When I went to complain at reception the staff just laughed at me and said that they were put there deliberately to eat the bedbugs. The star rating for Canifor Hotel is very misleading despite the criteria used for them to acquire 4 star. The food is absolutely awful, service very poor in the restaurant and I feel the young staff hates us 'British' by making silly comments in their language. This is our forth visit to the Canifor, and we have noticed that the standard of the hotel is better ever time we visit.
