Great location, this is a family run Aparthotel not a hotel as such, what you get is all the basic's you could need with friendly staff. Very good value stay. Would definitely recommend and visit again. I had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Huli as the Mavina is closed for renovation. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The rubbish is collected daily and towels are replaced during the middle of the week. We stayed for two weeks and the bed linen was changed The staff are one of the best features of this hotel. They are always friendly and... More

Stayed here from 19th September to 1st October. Found the apartment (no.17) thoroughly adequate with two comfy beds and all the cooking facilities working. The shower worked fine and although you are probably thinking that "these surely are minimum expected levels" believe me i've stayed in other places that were more expensive where these levels have fallen way short! Staff... More

We usually stay at the Mavina hotel, but this year, due to the fact the owners are renovating it, we stayed at their sister hotel The Huli.. Much smaller than the Mavina. but with the same staff who are absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean (same cleaners also), and such a homely atmosphere we wouldn't go anywhere else. Rooms are adequate, and... More

Huli apartments were basic but clean. Our room could have done with a makeover, but was fine for sleeping and showering. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast area looked new and modern. Breakfast was continental style. There was a small swimming pool on the rooftop with lovely views of Buggiba and Qwara. There was also sunbeds... More

Having stayed in Malta many times and different boarding options, we once again opted for self catering. There is the option to have meals if required on a day to day basis. The Mavina is a family run business basic but very clean. Although we chose self catering we did not use the cooking facilities. We looked inside the oven... More

Nice clean hotel but, need some redecorate the rooms. We took self-catering room (B101) for 2 weeks. You will have every thinks for your stay. The rubbish cleans every day. Twice changed the bedding but, you could ask for more if you need. The very staff friendly and helpful. We have spent very nice time in this hotel. (You could... More
