We stayed at Villa Giona for a cooking school by Giuliano Hazan and returning home to our exquisite, spacious room each day was a joy. Breakfast was a vast array of the best breads, meats and cheeses, yogurts, fruit, pastry and juices. Paolo was a wonderful and helpful host; Abigail was friendly and gracious. Cannot recommend Villa Giona more enthusiastically!

Beautiful renovated Villa, with all the great looks of the past and the functionality of today. Rooms are big and with all the amenities. We stayed at a The Pisanello room, and it is outstanding. The gardens are beautiful. It comes with good internet service and a continental breakfast. Staff is friendly and efficient. Recommend!

Stayed for 3 days while touring Italy with 5 friends. Enjoyed it immensely as it was like being in a fairy tale. Each room is different which added to the fun of exploring the property. It was October when we visited so the evenings were cool. The staff made us a wonderful meal one night when the kitchen was closed.... More

We've just spent 3 nights at the Villa Giona for our daughter's wedding and it was absolutely unbelievable. The rooms are stunning - we were in room 3 which was enormous with a bathroom to match. The food was excellent and the pool area great for a relaxing afternoon. The wedding planner Marian was lovely and sorted out any issues... More

The Villa Giona has a beautiful property- the gardens are stunning and the breakfast room is perfectly located. The pool is a gem and was used gratefully every afternoon during our 3 night stay! Everything is relatively close in Valpolicella, so you are close to all major producers and some great restaurants. Paolo, Abigail and there lovely colleague (the lovely... More

We booked Villa Giona for our 3 day wedding in August of this year. It far exceeded our expectations! The rooms, the grounds, the food and service are all first class. Rustic but luxurious, homely but elegant; Villa Giona is the perfect place to get married. Ideally located between Lake Garda and Verona, it is also remote enough to feel... More

I booked the Villa, all 17 rooms for 3 days for my daughters wedding. We could not have been happier. Every room was special to the point it was hard to choose the one we wanted for ourselves. The wedding was like a fairy tale amongst the beautiful grounds. The food the service and the overall attentiveness of everyone there... More

The Villa is absolutely a magical place. The staff, the grounds, the overall ambiance far exceeded expectations. Slightly off the beaten path, but not too far out of the way. We loved the area. Close to Verona and Lake Garda. Very special place. A lot of wonderful vineyards close by.

We stayed here the first days of our honeymoon- we cycled from verona - no far to this picturesque huge roman villa, which holds every bit of its history whilst being beautifully furnished inside wand not feeling run down. It is beautifully maintained and used and friendly. The staff were incredible and very helpful, you must take one night at... More

Have just had the most magical weeding weekend at the Villa Giona. The wedding and all the arrangements were superb but here I am just reviewing the hotel and restaurant. The Villa is simply stunning - from the moment the doors open from the road and you drive into the front drive you just get such a great feeling. The... More
