This hotel is in a fantastic position for anyone arriving in Rome but not wanting to stay there. Its approximately 2 hours drive from the airport and you find yourself in heavenly Umbria and the lovely 17th century Villa Pambuffetti. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished in the style of the building with views of the garden on two... More

We came to hotel villa pambuffetti and the owners are so nice. We immediately fell in love with this place mainly because of the swimming pool and the owners. We felt super welcomed because of all the staff. Mauro makes great cocktails ;)

A small family owned hotel that was once a large villa situated just outside Montefalco's once fortified town walls. Overlooking the vale of Spoleto from its hilltop position the view from my room was fantastic. The furnishing and decor is in keeping with the age/history that the property has. Any suggestion to modernise would spoil the charm of the place.... More

This was the most disappointing cooking class ever attended. The owner of the villa was distracted and most of the dishes were completely overcooked. I would not recommend this cooking class. The kitchen was not clean and we spent all morning making dough.

The hotel is set in large gardens, and is a short walk in to town. The rooms are spacious and have all mod cons. Lovely marble bathroom. The breakfast is in a downstairs room, and is average. The owners were very friendly, and we enjoyed our 2 night stay. The only criticism is the gardens are a bit faded, but... More

we recently stayed at the Villa for three nights with the main purpose of attending a two day cookery course with Alessandra. We could not have asked for a warmer welcolme. Our room was beautiful with amazing views. Mauro welcolmed us both with warmth and fun and shared his knowledge and expertise of wine with us. The food prepared by... More

We stayed only night in this lovely hotel. The service was very friendly, our room was charming and yes, they are not top modern rooms, but everything worked well and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a relaxed country hotel feel and there a nice pool area surrounded by trees and a restaurant where you can sit outside for... More

First the positives... It is a building full of character, in a lovely location with the best Wifi we've found in Italy (what could be better than listening to the Ashes on TMS by the pool?). However given its branding as a 'luxury' hotel and the price there are lots of little things that aren't good enough. Individually they are... More

We have just spent a week in this lovely villa hotel full of atmosphere and very comfortable, excellent food and great atmosphere, we had 'a room with a view' and the staff including the owners treated us very well, nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs. The town of Montefalco is a short walk away and full of... More

We are spending our second of two nights here right now. After three weeks in relatively boring hotels it is nice to find something so pleasant in the country. Some folks think the Villa needs an update, but I think the comfortable air is what makes it distinctive. If you want updated, find a new, characterless blah place in the... More
