The location in the piazza is great. The parking only a minute away is great too. The Wifi is iffy: often we had to wait or reboot. On our last morning, we had no hot water. Still, we would consider going back. It depends on the price.

If you want to stay in Montefalco, this is the place. Certainly the hotel is at the centre of the town square where there are a couple of great restaurants, but you might find a hotel in another town that best suits what you are doing. We used Montefalco as a base to go to other towns in the area... More

The hotel is located within a recently (and perfectly) transformed noble palace, just on the wonderful main square of Montefalco. The rooms are wide and tastefully furnished, provided with outstanding views, both those on the front, facing the square, and those on the rear, overlooking the beautiful country all around. The small spa in the basement offers a relaxing downtime.... More

Very romantic hotel, beautiful palace right on the main square of Montefalco! They have about 15 suites, all different from each other....all are beautiful but I suggest you to choose the one most fits you and your partner. The spa is something unique and the most unique thing is that you can reserve it for yourself and so nobody else... More

We booked this hotel last minute, not knowing what to expect. We booked room number 7, the junior suite. The palace did not disappoint: In fact, this hotel was one of the most amazing surprises we ever had in terms of boutique hotels we ever stayed in. The room was divine, very luxurious in every possible way. This room is... More

We switched to Palazzo Bontadosi at the last minute when the hotel we were scheduled to stay in Bevagna had a plumbing emergency. Montefalco is a beautiful hilltown, quiet, and well located to explore Umbria. The property, rooms, and staff are all quite wonderful. We stayed in a deluxe room (#5) which had a king size bed, frescos on the... More

We had requested junior suite 4 when we booked our trip. Opening the door to see that our room was even more beautiful than the photos was just the beginning of one of the most indulgent hotel experiences. We were so fortunate to have the palazzo all to ourselves 8 of the 10 nights that we stayed. All of the staff... More

This hotel ticks a lot of boxes. We had a large comfortable room with a great bed (not always the case on Italian hotels). The staff was very warm and helpful. The location on the main piazza in Montefalco is perfect and there is parking. The town itself is a jewel and much less touristy that most. The room prices... More

Town of Montefalco was a nice base from which to explore Umbrian countryside. Excellent restaurants just a few steps away so did not have to drive at night after long meals and much vino. Helpful staff as others have described and very responsive when maintenance problems encountered. Decor is unique and typical room and bath are on the smaller side... More
