Very nice place. Very nice owners. Many other towns and villages near: Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Voltera, Chianti hills and many more. Best food.

The service we received was faultless, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were basically furnished but if we needed anything we only had to ask. October was quiet not many other guests there but we didn't mind this. The position of the accommodation is in a quiet village in beautiful countryside. The autumn colours were outstanding. We were looking for a country retreat from which we could go to the surounding towns including Sienna. In santa Maria we found a very affordable base from where we traveled to all the towns and villages. We also took many fantastic walks in the surrounding countryside. Very charming family-run country inn close to San Giglimiano, Florence, Pisa and Siena. Laura speaks English and helped us with other travel arrangements. We had a very enjoyable two weeks and would go back next time we are in Tuscany.

This is a beautiful villa and would highly recommend a stay. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in the area. Stephania, Laura and Babbo were very helpful and speak many languages. They suggested many interesting restaurants and places to visit. We stayed a week and would go back.
