Located in gorgeous country surroundings, Borgo San Benedetto is a number of rural buildings turned into comfortable hotel rooms and villas with plenty of space for large families. The staff are amazingly welcoming and friendly and will help in whichever way they can. The main building hosts the breakfast area as well as some rooms. The breakfast offers a combination... More

Together with my husband and 3yo son I have spent there wonderful 5 days. The grounds are lovely although not on the hill and there is no view. Two swimming pools seemed more that adequate for the number of guests on the beginning of June, there was never more than other 5-6 people. One of the swimming pools had separate... More

Borgo San Benedetto is a perfect, relaxed place to stay in Tuscany, surrounded by beautiful grounds and greenery all year round. It is clear that a lot of love and attention has gone into creating such a special place. It is a place so special that my husband and I spent a week here with our friends and family for... More

It is a nice B&B, laid out in a park. In general, I suggest to pick a B&B on a hill with a nice view. We had booked an apartment, with two bedrooms and kitchen. At 200 euro a night, not a steal. No service for one week. WLAN is working, but no mobile phone connection. A car is a... More

Ideally placed for Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano. Apart from Lucca what else do you want? Nicely appointed apartments, two pools, playground, volleyball court and an onsite restaurant. The small town of montaione has a couple of reasonably large supermarkets and is 5 mins drive away. Buffet breakfast was nice even if we didn't realise they'd cook omelettes to order... More

The owner and staff were wery welcoming and ready to take into account any wish. There is a good restaurant owned... More

I took my girlfriend to Italy for the first time for Valentines day and we wasn't disappointed with the hotel nor the location. Set in the beautiful tuscany countryside it just felt very private, relaxed atmosphere and romantic ;D. Highly recommended!! Tip, make sure you hire a car as it is a drive to Pisa, Firenze or other towns.

Our family stayed in the Tinaia for a week in July. Each of the 5 rooms has en-suite and separate patio/entrance, although we only used the front patio area for evening meals. The communal kitchen is spacious and contains a much needed dishwasher! We brought our silver cross Kensington pram with us by easy jet, which was perfect for our... More

We spend a week at villa tinaia, wonderful house of five large rooms with en-suite bath to each, and nice dining room for all, fully equipped, nice pools and very helpful staff, including the lovely owner, Lucianna Massi, who also owns the starred restaurant, at the compound. The location is perfect for exploring the area. I guess that a spa... More

We went here several times and always enjoyed it. Great pool area with beautiful surrounding gardens, supurb restaurant, great B&B with excellent breakfast! The Masi family and their staff are extremely friendly and speak loads of languages. In summer the place to be for family with kids. In spring and autumn a relaxing place to discover Toscany.
