The hotel is situated on a one way street. There appears to be very limited parking at the hotel. This meant we had to park on another street. It is both inconvenient and bothersome. If you are staying in the new block (which is decorated to a high standard) you will walk a considerable distance - down a lift, through... More

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful sommelier Luigi who gave us a fantastic wine lesson and introduced us to a great local wine maker for a vineyard tour and wine tasting. Great rural escape in good location to see Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, Florence or to visit the beach. Only downside was the parking beware of the 'free parking' on your booking as its... More

Just completed a three night stay in a Junior Suite. The hotel is situated within a small and old walled city. The hotel is itself small and charming and has a fine restaurant. The room was comfortable and included a small terrace overlooking a pool that's is well-maitained. The highlight of the experience was the truly wonderful staff; beginning with... More

We stayed for 9 nights and from the moment we arrived Raul and his colleagues looked after us very very well! The breakfast is superb with a great selection to choose from. Room 103 in the original part was spacious, nice and very clean. The pool is great. Montaione is a great little town and a brilliant location to travel... More

Montaione is ideally situated to visit all the hill towns of Tuscany and is ideal for those who prefer a quite, idyllic setting to staying in a city overrun with visitors such as Florence. The hotel staff is marvelous, the restaurant is terrific and our Junior Suite (#111) had two levels, a balcony and a fantastic view. I was genuinely... More

having never been to Tuscany before we were unsure where to book but knew we wanted to visit Florence and Pisa and this area seemed pretty central. The hotels appeal to me was the age and size and I particularly asked for a room in the older side of the hotel. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by... More

Beautiful old building in the centre of a fairly quiet but pleasant town. The hotel is in two parts, reception, bar, dinning room and some bedrooms in the old building with the remainder of the bedrooms in a newer building across the road but accessed via a tunnel. We had a nicely furnished and well equipped room in the new... More

Hey, When i was in Italy, i rented a car and drove all around. I drove from Florence to the middle of Tuscany and stopped at UNA Palazzo Mannaioni. It is a very interesting hotel. My room was a bit narrow but very long. I was told by the receptionist that it is build a in wall (like walls that... More

We booked into the Palazzo Mannaioni by chance and were delighted to find that we could have a room in the old part of the building. The room was not large, but absolutely delightful, with a beamed ceiling and a splendid panorama from a window whose panes were ancient glass, giving a lovely, wobbly view. It was warm enough to... This is a good central location from which to explore Tuscany. Montaine is a tiny hill town with a spectacular view (no view from the hotel though). It's a quiet retreat for spending the nights away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular towns you will want to visit during the day. The hotel is a refurbishment of... More
