My family and stayed here during a touring holiday of Italy in June/July 2015. The hotel is right in the heart of the medieval old town of Mantaione, literally built into the city walls. Apparently there are modern rooms on the outside of the walls which are reached via an underpass, too but we didn't see them. We stayed in... More

I know this hotel has some mixed reviews, but in general we found it to be good. The rooms in the new annex were well appointed and convenient for a short walk into town for dinner. It was also very close to the parking garage. Breakfast was generally OK and whilst it was a bit was a bit of a... More

My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Mannaioni for 5 nights as part of an Italian tour. We had a delightful time and found it to be a good base for exploring Pisa, Florence and San Gimignano. The room was generous with stunning views, although for a deluxe room we were disappointed to find we had no balcony. The... More

The location is great, as 1 hour from Pisa airport and 1 hour from Florence and siena, so easy to get to the places you'll want to visit. The hotel is kitted out well, with a very good restaurant. It is in the old part of Montaione, which is quite, with a couple of nice restaurants, but no bars. Would... More

The hotel is situated in the small village of Montaione in an old palazzo. The room we stayed in on the third floor had a stunning view but otherwise was rather dingy with only a small wardrobe and generally dim lighting. It could also have done with some proper dusting. The bathroom was okay. The food - breakfast buffet and... More

Very friendly staff. The food was very good. The third-floor room we stayed in was rather dark and small but with spectacular view. The wardrobe held clothes just for one person. The shelves hadn't been dusted for a while.

A well located hotel between Florence and Sienna. Excellent value, but not particularly special. Not a honeymoon hotel. The pool is a bit basic and the town is a working tuscan town. Pretty but not incredible. Nice large rooms, clean but a bit old fashioned. A good restaurant onsite. We liked it mostly for its accessibility to the rest of... More

Situated in the heart of Tuscany and pretty much equidistant between Pisa, Florence, and Siena, the Palazzo Mannaioni is in a cracking location. It's very much a hotel of two halves with the sensitively restored Palazzo complemented by a recently built extension with a clean and modern aesthetic and underground car park. The two halves of the hotel are linked... More
