Would highly recommend this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms clean and well decorated with charming furnishings and furniture. Breakfast varied and fresh ingredients. Pool clean and plenty of space to relax.

Booked through Voyage Privee, whose communication after booking I have to say leaves something to be desired, I only had the reviews on here to go on. As my intention was a simple relaxing retreat, I was not too concerned with what was in the wider area and from the reviews expected more eating establishments than there actually were in... More

A very comfortable hotel in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, in a little town still mostly un-commercialised. Property is very modern & spread over a couple of small blocks. Rooms were well appointed, maybe a touch small, with top-grade fittings & comfortable beds. There were 2 conflicting sets of instructions for using the in-room safe, but we didn't spend the time... What a lovely quaint hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite which had a small balcony where we could sit and enjoy the sunshine and views. The dining room was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed two superb dinners there during our stay, the young chef has real flair, incorporating beautiful presentation as well as interesting combinations of flavours. The staff... More

A good hotel for viewing surrunding area. Breakfast was good with attentive service. Room small but we switched to Junior Suite at extra cost. Garage was also extra but adequate parking within walking distance. Pool was not open in April. A few excellent restaurants locally

Our original hotel accommodations at the Villa Bianca was cancelled because their compressor was not working properly. We were referred to Una Palazzo Mannaioni in Montaione and we were pleasantly surprised. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Catarina - Manager who welcomed us and upgraded our room to a balcony suite. It was March 8 - Women's Day so... More

We had the pleasure to visit Montaione and stay at Palazzo Mannaioni during Autumn 2013. Montaione itself is a treasure for those who wish to stay off the beaten track - but within easy access to all the tourist areas as well. Our stay at Palazzo Mannaioni was very special. From Esmeralda coming out on to the street to direct... More

We went for a 4 day stay. The region is wonderfull, especially visit San Gimigniano! We booked the hotel and there were no available rooms in the newer part which is much quieter and rooms look much better. In the main building you can see some age in the rooms. They are spacious but then the cabinets are old, bathroom... More

Montaione is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas without being swarmed by tourists in the evening. The hotel has been beautifully restored, with a great pool - all in the centre of the village. We stayed in the new wing and were comfortable and cosseted. The rooms had great bathrooms, were beautifully styled and have everything that you... More

great hotel and staff. Great jumping off point for San Gimignano and Volterra. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was particularly helpful and the views from the town were spectacular. Although the hotel was difficult to get to, it was worth the effort.
