What a magical gem to have found in the tuscan countryside! We only spent two nights here and could have stayed for two weeks! So rural and beautiful with the most stunning vistas. The quirky, shabby-chic decor was very much to our taste and our Deluxe Tadema was so romantic! I highly recommend having dinner here as Gino's cooking is... More

We stayed for three nights in early July in the Turco room. Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. The property is beautiful and well-maintained with stunning views from the rooms, pool, and sitting areas. The staff are friendly, helpful and very good at what they do. The food is wonderful - we enjoyed both the breakfast buffet and the... More

Cozy, beautiful, pics show rooms but cannot depict the atmosphere given by the gardens, being in those cottages overviewing the tuscan hills... the service corteous, and I am planning when to come back...

The rooms are just like the pics, but the surroundings are even better, tons of flower beds, views of the tuscan hills, the service is great... I just can think of when to come back and be able to spend more time merely relaxing at Lupaia. Worth every penny, for sure a must.

We booked Lupaia well advance for 4 nights in June and we came with high expectation. Our drive (from Siena) to the hotel was smooth and with the help of print outs of the direction guide that was reminded by the hotel owner in time of booking confirmation - important note: GPS is NOT able to take you there. Once... More

My husband and I recently spent one night at the Hotelito Lupaia and it was, by far, the highlight of our trip to Italy. We drove to the Hotelito from Rome which took a little over 2 hours and had no difficulty finding the hotel using the Google maps app on our phones. The grounds are stunning, the staff was... More

Absolutely loved our stay here; was the highlight of our Italy trip. The property is beyond gorgeous, tranquil and almost dreamlike. We felt like we were in a fairytale! Please note this hotel is definitely off the beaten path. When following their directions, do not actually turn off for Montefollinico! We misinterpreted the directions and realized you need to pass... More

My partner and I stayed here for a few days a little while ago and found this place to be simply perfect. From booking to arrival to leaving everything was straightforward. I can strongly recommend following the directions on their website - Google Maps/Earth got us to the dirt track, the instructions got us the rest of the way (and... More

Lupaia is the sort of place you picture in your head when you dream about Tuscany. We stayed here for four nights while we explored Tuscany and could not have asked for better accommodations. Though you feel like you are in the country, it is a mere ten minute drive to Pienza and Montepulciano by a picture perfect Tuscan dirt... More

I just recently returned from a 12 day trip in Italy, staying three nights in the Tuscan region and discovered Hotel Lupaia! The views are spectacular but the staff (Zumi and Gino) are awesome! They go out of their way to make your stay special from the homemade breads, jams and jellies and ricotta to helping navigate around the area!... More
