Lupaia is the sort of place you picture in your head when you dream about Tuscany. We stayed here for four nights while we explored Tuscany and could not have asked for better accommodations. Though you feel like you are in the country, it is a mere ten minute drive to Pienza and Montepulciano by a picture perfect Tuscan dirt... More

I just recently returned from a 12 day trip in Italy, staying three nights in the Tuscan region and discovered Hotel Lupaia! The views are spectacular but the staff (Zumi and Gino) are awesome! They go out of their way to make your stay special from the homemade breads, jams and jellies and ricotta to helping navigate around the area!... More

We stayed at this hotel in April for two nights. The hotel was so pretty and the grounds were so beautiful. Our only regret was that it was not warm enough to to swim in the infinity pool while looking out at the scenery. The breakfasts were sumptuous and in a beautiful room.

Lupaia offers a very pretty setting not far from the lovely town of Montepulciano - it’s a B&B type place with several small buildings and scenic views. They have a small staff- their manager Christine was wonderfully helpful before and during our trip with making recommendations and reservations for us. (as I recall, she is native of England which helped... More

Dear Michael S, thank you for your review of our Relais and we are happy you liked the location, scenery and Staff of Hotelito Lupaia. We all love the country and rustic aspect of living in the countryside, but this has very few things in common with feeling unconfortable. I am pretty sure that none of us of the staff... More

Some years passed and Hotelito Lupaia still remains the benchmark for us as the nicest spoiling place to stay. The fantastic location, the scenic views, the calmness of the place, the architecture and decoration and, not the least, the fantastic service and the great kitchen make Hotelito Lupaia a unique experience that most probably one will remember for a ling... I stayed here for 1 night (wish we had more time!!) with my mother and aunt in late October. We had 9 nights around Italy and this was our favorite place to stay. Everything about it is magical and just as you would dream about when thinking of the Tuscan hills. Get lost sitting on the patio sipping wine and... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here for 4 days in mid-September. Really away from it all. We stayed in a beautiful and characterful room decorated in pale blue with real and trompe l'oeil draperie (all rooms are individually decorated), and with French windows opening onto a balcony with table & chairs. This gave out onto a panoramic... More

We can't say enough about this beautiful place to stay. It's not marble and glass, it's instead an invitation to a home that's been decorated by someone who has collected loved treasures! Each room is done in lush color and each filled with just the right combination of pictures and curios that makes you feel as if you are staying... More

Off the highway by a couple of miles, this hotel grants what I can only call a pristine Tuscan experience. It has a rural atmosphere in an incredibly comfortable and beautiful setting at a very good location for day trips. Arriving at our room, as my wife opened the windows she said: "is this view a painting?". Indeed, the panorama... More

I arrived in the heart of romance country a single weary traveller and was graciously embraced by the Hotelito Lupaia. My travel partner had cancelled at the last minute and I arrived shaky (hadn't driven a standard in 15 years), fairly sick and alone and the staff accommodated, well more than accommodated, all of my needs and helped me with...
