Our first stay in this hotel was in 2009 or 2010. Since then we go there almost every year. You can get tired of hotels which you visit regularly but Vigilius is quite the opposite - the more you go there, the stronger is the desire to come back. To me, as an individual living in a huge city full... More

Good points 1500 restaurant- 4 elements menu was delicious, they were also good with dealing with gluten intolerances (the waiter Angelo was very attentive) Activities- all were really fun and enjoyable, the instructor Barbara was a gem! Breakfast- good selection, they even had goji berries! Pool/spa- amazing views from the pool and hot tub is both inside and outside. Massage... More

My husband and I stayed at Vigilius for 2 nights in July 2015 during our holiday in Northern Italy. We drove up from Lake Como and then headed on to Verona and Venice. The drive was gorgeous going to Lana though we took the wrong road and ended up on a twisty turvy drive for 4 hours. The main thing... More

I came here with my wife to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. I have never been to the Sud Tyrol or Vigilus but I will certainly be back again. The location of the hotel is quite unique: you make your entry by cable car. The change in scenery and temperature from the valley floor to the hotel is quite stunning.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. It's set into the mountain 1500 metres from the ground and the only way to get to and from it is by cable car, so it's got a great location. It's very much a wooden structure, inside and out. The room was very nice at first sight, but then you realised that the bathroom... More

stayed here during the last Easter holidays, and it was an amazing experience. t was first time for me. Definitely a good spot for relaxation and forget all about city life. it was fully booked so it was hard to catch a available spot by the spa/pool area or a table with a view in the restaurant but it was... we came from Merano where we visited the Therme. Then we wanted to escape to a romantic hideaway place where you can completely switch off. A luxury retreat worth 5 stars but even plus all the little details that architects can appreciate. The service was excellent. Surrounded by natural beauty staying in the very elegant rooms with a stunning view.A... More

Were you able to imagine that the check-in can begin in a gondola, sojourn in the clouds? Aperitif in the mountain wilderness with the sound of the harp (live)? Totally amazing blend offers this spectacular hotel! I'm not sure do I like it more in summer or winter, weekend or an entire week, but I am sure that there is... More

If you define Luxury as being at a place, in an environment where you feel totally at peace, then Vigilius is top Luxury. The natural environment, the building, the room, the swimming pool ... are contribute to that same feeling of natural, warm perfection. The kindness of people at the restaurant, especially George and Angelo, enhance the quality of the... More

No doubt, the setting, the rooms, the staff are top notch. A glorious location with access to the high mountains of the Dolomites, and access to the towns of Lana and Merano. Glorious hiking, wherever you turn. The hotel used beautiful materials in its construction, both inside and out. Elegant, and simple lines, cool woods, lovely common spaces. The breakfast... More
