Our family recently visited Richmond and stayed at the Museum District Bed and Breakfast. You never quite know what to expect on your first visit to any place, but honestly, we were delighted even before we set foot in Anna's beautiful home. The drive up appeal was warm and welcoming, and the location perfect--directly across Grove Ave. from the Museum... More

My mom and I stayed in the carriage house and found it to be very comfortable. The whole house is beautiful, it's a great location, easy parking, and awesome breakfast. Anna did a great job giving us advice on things to see in the city and was very hospitable. We would highly recommend this b&b!

The B&B is on a terrific street with charming homes, across from the fine arts museum. There is ample parking for the property so no need to worry about street parking. Anna runs a very nice home and she makes you welcome from the moment you walk in. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. We stayed in the... More

We found the B&B easily after a long drive, but didn't see any off-street parking, so I called Anna, who promptly gave us good directions for going around the block and down the alley to get to her parking area. It was kind of weird to navigate, and we wouldn't have found it on our own, but once we did... More

When my wife and I were looking for a quick getaway to relax, she came across this B&B in Richmond, VA. Neither of us had ever been to a B&B and we were not sure what to expect. The whole booking process was effortless and communication was clear and to the point. We had reserved the Carriage House, which is... More

We stayed at the carriage house room and it was the only room which was separate from the house. Ann was so nice and gave us advice on where to go and where to eat. The wine and cheese hour was probably my favorite part of the stay because you just get to sit and meet with others and share... More

We stayed here for one night in the chauffer's quarters (I'm sure it has a different name) and found it comfortable and while smaller than probably some people would want, it was perfect for us. Anne, the innkeeper, very pleasant and helpful, and she lays out a great breakfast, croissants from the local bakery, great scrambled eggs and bacon, and... More

After a long drive from Cincinnati, we arrived at the Museum District B & B in Richmond, VA in the evening. We were greeted by the own owner Anne Currence. The accommodations were just as she had described in our phone call and emails. Fine dinning restaurants were within easy walking distance over by the university. We stayed in the... More

Called tonight to check on this establishment's cancellation policy due to the time of year and the possibility of in-climate weather. The lady that answered the phone was rude to my husband when he asked about the policy for cancellations as she advised "well this doesn't appear to be the right time for you to book" - we simply were... We have stayed here a couple of times in order to be near relatives who live in Richmond. Innkeeper Anna Currence is very engaging and welcoming. We stayed in the Judge Rhea Suite, which we love because it has a separate living area and a large, lovely bathroom including a double shower and a big soaking tub. The B&B is... More
