This has to be the best kept secret in Richmond...you can stay here for a very reasonable amount...a beautifully restored home.....be in walking distance of all the cool places in Carytown...whats not to like? This is our 3rd stay here...Anna serves up a great breakfast in the deal as well....

My grandson and I spent two nights here for a civil war and ancestry trip to Richmond. We stayed in the John Lane Suite for separate privacy. The house is beautiful and Anna made us feel most welcome. Her breakfasts were awesome and included bakery cinnamon rolls and croissants that were the best I've tasted! The wine and cheese hour... This is a restful, elegant, comfortable and wonderful place to stay. Anna, the inn keeper makes sure that every guest is welcome, well fed and well cared for. When I arrived a bit earlier than planned she was personally ironing the linens for my bed! The home is well appointed, peaceful and immaculately clean. Its location is superbly convenient -... The more I stay in B&B's the better they get, but it will be hard to top this one. The Judge Rhea suite is one the best rooms we've ever stayed in. The shower is a wonderful morning treat, steam and dual showers wonderfully invigorating. Breakfast is hearty and sustaining(killer croissants) with farm fresh eggs and fresh squeezed OJ. Convenient... More

We stayed during cherry blossom season in 2015. The host was exceptional, the basics of the cleanliness and facilities in our suite were excellent, breakfast was full and well cooked; two types of croissant. 5 o'clock cheese and wine was a delight. Even a few hours after we'd checked out we were offered tea on the porch. If we were... More

We spent the final three days of our recent Civil War road trip at the Museum District B&B. Some travel experiences are sure to stay with you for a while: I'm afraid no other bed and breakfast will match the quality, comfort, and sense of community that owner Anna Currence brought to 2811 Grove Avenue in Richmond. My parents and... More

Pretty house, good location, friendly & knowledgeable host. Enjoyed chatting with her (Anna) & with fellow guests. Honestly, B&B's attract the nicest people. Both the wine/ cheese hour and breakfast were yummy. A class act.

Absolutely lovely B&B with warm and professional hospitality :) This is my sixth year staying here while attending the French Film Festival at the Byrd (approximately 3 blocks walk to Cary Street) and the stay here is always a treat. Located right next to the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, which is open 365 days a year.

We had the pleasure of visiting Richmond last week and staying at the Museum District Bed and Breakfast! Anna was a gracious hostess! She has a wonderful ability to make recommendations based on "must see" attractions, as well as suggestions based on her guests' specific interests. We've stayed at many b&b's across the country, and never have we felt so... More

I highly recommend this bed and breakfast as a place to stop in Richmond. The house is impeccable, clean, and very accommodating. Anna is a wonderful host, and makes a great breakfast! I would absolutely stop here again. Other perks: parking on the property, discount for solo travelers, and you're right in front of the Art Museum! Perfect stay.
