Beautifully decorated, inpeccably clean, friendliest owners (Mike and Pat), cutest canine, charming garden and patio for wine in a convenient location that made for a wonderful beginning to our vacation. We'd come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The William Miller House. The house itself is beautiful, our room was so comfortable and attractive, Mike's breakfast was delicious and Pat and Mike were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. We only stayed 1 night so didn't get a feel for the area... More

Pat and Mike are the ultimate hosts, and their house is the ultimate place to stop and explore Richmond. Fabulous accommodations, great conversations, and indescribable breakfasts. They printed out maps, information about possible destinations, and were always available. Absolutely the best that we could hope for, and we will definitely return if we can.

We visited in June 2011 and it was our 2nd trip there. Pat & Mike do a great job of welcoming you from the get-go! Mike helped take our bags upstairs (even though we could have done it - nice touch!!), wine/cheese was instantly available (it was very hot when we visited so we had the wine in the garden... More

I’ve been traveling for the past 20 years and my accommodation of choice has always been a B&B. The William Miller House is by far the best one I’ve found in my search for the perfect B&B experience. Pat and Mike make you feel truly welcomed from the minute you step through the door and enter there gorgeous home. It... More

Pat and Mike know how to make you feel at home (or home away from home, which may be better). The B&B is located in the historic fan district, just off of the VCU campus. We stayed in the Regency Room, which was nicely appointed, had a comfortable bed, and a jet tub. We were treated to an amazing breakfast... More

This is by far the best bed and breakfast ever! Our rooms were wonderfully decorated, beds great, hospitality wonderful. And, our breakfasts were just divine. At the William Miller House, the emphasis is on a wonderfully prepared, multi-course breakfast from local, fresh and seasonal ingredients. Breakfast has it all, and Mike has a huge repertoire of his own recipes that... More

My husband & I spent a wonderful weekend here en route back to NY after dropping our son off @ college. What a beautiful home!.. thoughtfully renovated to include modern amenities while artfully & lovingly decorated maintaining the original "feel" of the era. We enjoyed amazing gourmet breakfasts & lively/funny mealtime conversations so engaging that we didn't even leave to... More

Great place to stay in the Fan District in Richmond. The food is fantastic. We will be staying here again in the near future.

We stayed for one wonderful night in April. We arrived late in the afternoon after a long drive and couldn't have been made more welcome. From the handmade chocolates and Perrier water in our room to the wine and cheese in the sitting room (which they had left even after the normal time of service for us). Pat and Mike... More
