Grace Manor Inn is a lovely restored and beautifully decorated home in the Historic Fan District. We enjoyed every pampered moment! The 3-course gourmet breakfast was a fabulous start to the day. The 3 Yorkshire Terriers are a treat.

My husband and I have stayed at a number of inns in the U.S. and abroad and we found the Grace Manor Inn to be outstanding. Albert was a gracious host. The suite we were in was large, clean and decorated in a style that fit the home's original era. The common rooms were magnificent. Breakfast served in the main... More

I stayed at Grace Manor Inn at the end of May, but loved it so much I came back to stay again. Not only did I come back, but also I extended my stay. In May I stayed at the Zimmerman suite, a beautiful Victorian room plus living room and a private bath. This time, I stayed at the Carriage... More

House is beautiful and the breakfasts were terrific as well. While the rooms do have private baths, you have to access the private bath through the hallway for most of the rooms. That wasn't really a problem since there are only a few rooms in this large and beautiiful house (rarely saw other guests except at breakfast), and robes are... More

I was visiting Richmond for work last week and I stayed at the Grace Manor Inn. The price was the same as if I had stayed at a hotel but the experience was much better! The house is gorgeous with many rooms decked out with flowers, paintings, literature, lots of light, and a piano. The breakfast they serve is fantastic... More

Grace Manor Inn is an exquisitely beautiful home that'll bring you back to what it must have been like living in Richmond in 1910. While it is well-maintained, it has not been remodeled. It is very authentic and original. It's like time travel -- only the food is much, much better. Speaking of the food, Dawn is a world-class chef... More

Al and Dawn are wonderful host and their home is inspiring. My wife and I spent two nights in the Fensterer-Davis Suite of the 100 year old Grace Manor Inn while passing through Richmond. Relaxing! We had two large private balconies. I enjoyed the early morning on the back covered balcony with a good book. The owners are very warm,... More

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the Richmond area and the Grace Manor Inn is by far the best experience I've had. The rooms were absolutely stunning, creative and comfortable, the customer service was fantastic and the breakfast was superb--even better than the brunch at the Jefferson. The price is so reasonable that I really regret wasting my... More

This was our second time to stay at the Grace Manor Inn and we greatly enjoyed the carriage house apartment. We had thought it was on ground level but were pleasantly surprised to find it was upstairs with kitchen, dinning room, living room, large bedroom, and bath. It is more contemporary in decoration but well done. It would be a... More

Just returned from three nights in the Fensterer-Davis Suite----a lovely 2 room suite with private balcony overlooking a quite street. Albert and Dawn are gracious hosts---their recommendations for dinner---Millie's Diner, Can-Can and Edo'sSquid were a perfect answer to days full of museums, walking wonderful Momument Street and touring the capital. Dawn's breakfasts are a gourmet feast--undoubtedly the best food we... More
