Maybe we didn't like this hotel because we had just left La Quinta Inn in Raleigh, NC which was a great place. Although we paid the same rate, the La Quinta Inn in Richmond definitely offered less value. The hotel smelled bad and felt dirty. This is a simple but well maintained location run by a pleasant family. They were very accomodating of our pet, which we haven't always experienced at LQ and we really appreciated it after a long day on the road. more

If you are looking for a hotel to stay in when driving on I 95 near Richmond stay at this hotel.....staff is great, hotel very very super clean......I have no bad things to say about this place....Have stayed at a few La Quintas and this was the best.....Dog friendly at no extra change. more
