i stayed almost 8 months, staff are friendly and for what you pay , cannot get a better room. if you are planning to stay in Richmond for work or contract . this is a better place to stay.every thing very near to the hotel .

I stayed at the Suburban for 5 nights. Some of the furniture is a little warn, but the rooms are clean. The carpet needs a good cleaning in the hallways. Barb at the front desk is very helpful. I will stay there again.

This place turned out to be a gem......you could not beat it for $45. In a good safe area...excellent staff, clean room and common areas, excellent laundry....close walking to bars and restaurants. Great solid basic place.....I'll use them again.

Older property. Well located. Pretty cheap. Staff unfriendly. Filthy rooms. Stay away! Two straight days of jack hammering, literally. And more than one interuption of water service. I get that maintenance must be done on an old building. But nobody wants it done as they're checked in.
