Overall, this hotel was a pretty good bargain. For the $139 each of us (6) had 2 room suites. The bed was comfortable, but the air-conditioning unit made enough noise to wake me up several times during the evening. I did not report it, so I don't know how they would have handled it. The breakfast was not elaborate, but... more

We stayed at this hotel for the Monument Ave 10K, a fun running event in downtown Richmond with over 35, 000 participants. We usually stay at another hotel about 10 miles from the race but decided to stay closer this year. The hotel was extremely convenient to the race. The hotel was undergoing renovations at the time. The room was... more

We actually booked our stay (three moms in town for their daughters' volleyball tournament at the Convention Center) at the Linden Row Inn but when they didn't have room for us, they put us up at the Holiday Inn Express on Cary Street. We ended up staying two nights (check out the Linden Row review for that story) and had... more

We really were not impressed on arrival in Richmond. We turned up at night and although this hotel is downtown, Richmond at night is empty and in a fairly foreboding area. They were remodelling however into a Holiday Inn Express but no-one told us that so we went past 3 times before wondering whether the Quality Inn was in fact... more

I was a little leary of booking this hotel, after reading some of the reviews.. IN the area of Richmond that I needed, All the hotels were at least 129.00 A night or more....until I FOUND THIS ONE. THE hotel is old, but they are remodeling.. THE garage is old, and the ceilings are low, So trucks/suvs are hard to... more

Nice hotel in a safe and quiet part of downtown but still close enuff to walk anywhere. Room was clean and very big and included coffe maker, mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom was also quite spacious with modern fixtures. Also the front desk was great and very helpful when i asked about eating out and delivery foods. Would stay again... more

Well, the front desk staff was very rude and couldn't even fulfill a basic request such as calling our room to let us know when our pizza arrived, even when we called to let them know that we had ordered one. When the delivery guy came he was told that nobody with our name was staying there and we know... more

This hotel is in downtown Richmond. I booked it to be fairly close to the downtown tourist attractions. During the day the area is full of business people at work, but at night the area is fairly empty. As a solo traveler, I decided not to venture out after dark. The parking garage is an extra $7 but well worth... more

Stayed here one night in January for Martina McBride concert. The room was terrific, clean, large, well lit. Parking Garage was sufficient - roof is very low - but sufficient for my SUV and provided off the street parking. Nice little diners very close for late night meals and such. Staff were friendly. Would stay here again. Definitely recommend. more

This was my first visit to Richmond and I wanted to stay in the historic district w/ in walking distance to the sites and Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom. Therefore, The Quality Inn was a good value choice. It doesn't have any character but our room was large, clean, modern, convenient and w/ free wireless high speed internet. Any other... more
