The good: The hotel is located in a busy shopping area with several dining options close by (primarily chains) and a large Target directly next door. The hotel's breakfast offering was good and varied and the bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The not-so-good: I needed the airport shuttle which is shared with some other hotels and it arrived soon... More

My trip was for personal reasons but I am in the airline industry so I stay at many hotels throughout the year. This hotel has one of the most personable, professional and courteous staffs that I have every experienced. Kristin was absolutely amazing. As was the manager (Lori) who ensured that everything was perfect. The room was spotless, quiet and... More

Late night, one day trip into Richmond. Pros: Great location on main strip. Many options for shopping, eateries and very close proximity to interstates. Cons: When I pulled the covers back on my bed, there were crumbs from the previous guest...EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeW ! Fortunately, I'd reserved a room with double beds, so after inspecting the other bed, I felt comfortable enough... More

We stayed here because I had Hyatt points for a free night. It's in a great area with lots of shopping and restaurants. Longhorn Steakhouse shares a parking lot with it and Target pretty much does as well. Our room was spacious and clean, except the bathroom and floors. There was a large wad of hair on the floor in... What a clean hotel with all the conveniences. Close to the airport and not to far from town. Not in an area that is good for upscale dining just your typical suburban area. Breakfast was OK not great. Beds were wonderful

We stayed here on a weekend with a wedding block and were very happy with hotel. The room was spacious and had the largest sofa I've ever seen in a hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were new and clean. There was a mini fridge and large flat screen TV with every type of plug you can think... More

The Hyatt was a meeting place for a small family reunion. We had great military rates, quiet rooms, complimentary parking and a varied continental breakfast bar which included healthy choices. There were multiple restaurants and chain stores in walking distance of the hotel. We had a room with two queen sized beds with a separate area with a full sofa... More

We checked into the hotel early on Friday morning after our flight from Boston. Our plans were to spend a fun week exploring the history of VA. Hyatt has always been our hotel of choice and the location of this particular hotel, was a plus with easy highway access and ample of dining options in the area. Rooms are typical... More

NICK P, General Manager at Hyatt Place Richmond Airport, responded to this review

Dear Guest, First of all I really want to apologize for the inconvenience you had to go through while staying with us. It was very unfortunate that due to a mechanical failure you could not get any rest and had to leave your room for an extended period of time. We definitely could have handled the situation in different manner... More

After a mix up with the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel (I waited 45 mins) i finally took a cab to the hotel. Lori (Asst Manager) went over and beyond my expectations to accommodate my minor inconvenience. After taking care of my cab fare, she even bought me lunch... a fantastic artichoke, chicken and spinach flat bread... More

I was in town for a festival weekend and wanted a place as close to downtown as possible. I also wanted to burn some Hyatt points. This led me to the Hyatt Place Richmond Airport. It's the closest Hyatt Place to downtown which is six miles (a quick 10 minutes on I-64). I also wanted to try it because it... More
