Hat's off to Martin and his staff for providing us with a relaxed, yet professional facility for our small group. Each morning, we were treated to a gourmet breakfast that was presented with all of the mansion's southern hospitality. Once the business of the day had ended, the game room offered a little something for everyone. The grounds of this... more

The property was absolutely amazing as we pulled in. Historic, clean, and well manicured. The grounds were well kept with attention to detail. Lots of elegance to point your camera at. We had privacy when we wanted it, and had service when we needed it. This home away from home was tucked in the middle of nowhere right around the... more

I was fortunate to attend a small professional group meeting at Mankin and it was just fabulous. The Innkeepers, Martin and Paula Ramirez, are just the nicest hosts ever. Paula's breakfast is a culinary adventure to start each day and the downstairs game room is setup for darts, pool, foosball, poker, and other things. One of the best things about... more

Immaculate property that even had a "game room" for guest use. The entire property had many beautiful touches. The owners were very kind and helpful. We stayed in the Carriage House which included a small kitchenette. The breakfast, served in our suite, was absolutely delicious. It would be a wonderful place to have a wedding with plently of room for guests... more

I had the pleasure of getting married here, and couldn't have been happier with the service and attention to detail. The mansion is a beautiful retreat in Richmond and can easily accommodate several guests. The staff was extremely attentive and worked very hard to meet any requests for our party. I highly recommend having a wedding or similar function here. more

The Historic Mankin Mansion is really a fabulous place to stay. I had my wedding here and could not have been happier with the outcome. I, my husband to be at the time and some of the bridal party all stayed here before the wedding and the night of. It was great to be in one place and kind of... more

I want to write a review of the Mansion that adequately depicts the character and feel of the entire weekend, but I don't think its possible until you experience it. There are so many wonderful things to share. Marylee, Paula, and Martin are all exceptional. They did EVERYTHING to make the experience perfect for me. I didn't have to lift... more
