We love this place... the idea of preserving a row of old Richmond houses and turning them into a nice place to stay is wonderful. I just wish the place could see to details and consistency. I ordered the wine and chocolates add-on and expected this to be in our room when we arrived. Instead I got and "oh yea,... More

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Richmond. Due to the layout being formed from a range of old houses, the layout and rooms have a lot of character. Our large room even had a fireplace in the bathroom. Good breakfast. There is no parking so you have to let the valet take the car away to... More

I was bringing my daughter up to meet the coach and field hockey team at nearby VCU. Since she was going to be there overnight I decided I would stay in town. The old style and history of Linden Row Inn caught my attention. Parking is either on the street, in a public garage a block away, or the valet... More

The staff was great! Rooms are very charming. The bathroom was updated and clean. The bedroom could be updated a bit, but overall a nice hotel with a good location. The free breakfast was nice. The free shuttle, within 2 miles, was very convenient and the driver was very nice.

We discovered the Linden Row Inn on our way north and just had to stop on the way back. This is our favorite type of historic property, well preserved and maintained, but not fussy or overly glossy. We stayed in suites both times thanks to upgrades. The local eating scene is really blossoming.

Staff was super-helpful. Shuttle was useful. The welcome cool drinks (non-alcoholic) in the lobby were a delightful touch. [Wine and beer are available for purchase.] The common areas are comfortable; we particularly liked the garden for breakfast dining and the rockers on the porches for relaxing. We had a great time and look forward to coming back the next time... More

Stayed for a week while in town on business. This hotel is beautiful! It's composed of seven old buildings centered around a gorgeous little courtyard. It's location was very convenient to VCU, where I was attending training for work. It is also walking distance to the capitol building, several historic sites and museums, and plenty of restaurants. Just walking around... More

Stayed here one night last week. Series of converted row homes into a small hotel, large bed and breakfast. Large rooms with great beds. Only drawback is this is an older building and the floors creek when people are walking on the floor above, or in the hallway. Breakfast (nice continental breakfast) is included. Several good restaurants in walking distance.... More

I like boutique, odd hotels. This one deserves your attention but requires some thought. First, great location, clean and the price is right. But, very old virginia. The rooms open onto a common porch overlooking an attractive courtyard. Rooms have very high ceilings and solid rood doors with real keys. There are parlors along the porch and rocking chairs along... More
