Keep in mind, this is a historic building, so you'll get the charm of the period in which is was built. That said, the spaces, public and private are wonderful, and the staff is amazing. Very friendly, helpful, prompt and on it! Plus the location of the hotel is right in the middle of so many downtown RIC locations, and... More

We were upgraded to a parlor suite, which was large and beautiful with period furnishings. Complimentary breakfast was similar to other hotels. Internet was complimentary but on the slow side. Front staff were helpful and kind. I did like the fact that they had a shuttle to run around the downtown, especially when it rains. The immediate area is not... More

When we were going to Richmond for a wedding, the Linden Row Inn came up as a possible place to stay. Reviews on Trip Advisor were all over the place, from one star to five, but it looked convenient to where wedding events were taking place, so we opted to stay because of its character and location. This was a... More

My husband & I cannot get enough of the Linden Row Inn in downtown Richmond. It is wonderful for quick long-weekend getaways, any time of the year. The rooms are typical of those in historic row houses, which is what Linden Row is. One can just picture Edgar Allan Poe as a young boy wandering around the place. Linden Row... More

This is a magnificent renovation, charming rooms of an old row house. The room was huge with good linens and immaculate modern bathrooms. But the whole place could use a little bit of a spruce-up as others have said. Some bits were not fresh, like the television sets. I would forgive that if the charm of the initial renovation matched... More

We take pride in offering our guests a taste of Southern hospitality. So, it is disappointing to hear that our Front Desk staff failed to deliver on that front. Needless to say, we will be... More

I stayed at Linden Row last week for one night. I was so excited when I arrived. It was qaint and unque and had that boutique hotel feel. The charm ended at the front desk. The room I had was a standard king room and it was very tired. From stains on the bed spread to very old wall paper.... More

Stayed one night only. The hotel is quaint if the rooms a bit spartan. Cable was fuzzy on all channels. Bed was OK. Bathrooms look to be remodeled, though a bit poorly. You can see wallpaper tearing off and holes in the walls where towel rod should have been in need of spackle. The biggest problem was there was a... More

While the photos on the website suggest a place in better repair and a bit more luxurious than the actual inn, I found it a great value and the room was quite comfortable. This is not the ultra-lux foo-foo B&B that you may be used to, but it was also a LOT less expensive than those. I booked using the... More

We have stayed here twice and we love it! Helpful staff, lovely, comfortable rooms and lots of hideaways on balconies and bricked gardens. We love the history here and location but the rooms are very traditional in style yet modern in comfort. There is a little breakfast area downstairs which is fine for simple fare such as breads, cereals and... More
