Rude staff at first, although they were quite helpful once we had checked in. There was a free shuttle service and there was pink lemonade and cakes for free in reception. There was a great breakfast included, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast. It was a pretty hotel e.g. little rocking chairs outside on the balconies. Spacious rooms with a personal... More

I stayed at this hotel last night and let me say DO NOT GO THERE!!!! We had a TERRIBLE experience. I was extremely disappointed. We checked in to our room which was extremely small, which was fine but then the queen bed was pushed all the way over to the wall(, the carpet was disgusting, the room smelled horrible and... More

We stayed in the hotel for three nights and had a lovely stay. We were greeted by Denise who was helpful and professional. My daughter loved the sweet tea and pink lemonade available everyday in the lobby. We had a lovely breakfast every morning - it is called a continental but it is not like a European continental - waffle... More

We just got back from a one night stay at the Linden Inn and it was a BAD experience. I expected so much more from this hotel. Perhaps the larger rooms in the main building are better, but the Queen room we had in one of the old servants quarters (?) outside was horrible. The first room we were assigned... More

Linden Row is full of history. The information is there to read in one of the luxurious sitting rooms. Each hotel room has its own unique character-old fireplaces, old brick hearths. All rooms are found in a maze of stairs around a beautiful garden courtyard. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful with homemade waffles! Shuttle services are also immediately ready and... More

The best place to stay in Richmond; wish it was duplicated in 1/2 dozen other places we visit. Beautiful rooms, great ambiance including the courtyard and wonderful staff. Centrally located to everything in town and reasonably priced. Perfect for getaway weekends even if you live right around Richmond.

We returned to the wonderful Linden Row Inn for our second year attending a ballet summer school in Richmond. As was the case last year, our stay was perfect!! The hotel was busy but the staff always went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well looked after. The shuttle drivers are great, always showing up... More

We arrived after 9PM.. I received no smile or "hello" from the front desk clerk when I walked in and checked-in. Instead, the front desk clerk kept mumbling to himself complaining about some guests he just got off the phone with. Very negative/depressing attitude. There was no offer to help with our luggage. Over the course of our stay, we... More

We decided to stay for two nights and it was really disappointing. We met several insects in the room which let us feel uncomfortable. The carpet and the bedcover was stained and the room didn't seem very clean. Only the bathroom was nice. The room is well equiped with a modern television, refrigerator and a steamer (which was a bit... More

We loved the location of this historic inn. Our garden room was comfortable and clean with an updated granite bathroom. The shuttle service and valet parking was wonderful and proved most helpful during our stay. The generous continental breakfast provided many choices and was quite filling. We felt the price of our room, was a great value given the location... More
