Our club volleyball team stayed at the Days Inn Broad for a big tournament held at the convention center. Drive is about 12 mins if you get on I-64, longer if you take Broad Street all the way downtown. Checked in around midnight. Desk clerk smelled like an over- used ashtray. Had two rooms. Neither room was very clean. The place is old, dirty, run-down, and the elevator smelled like sweat. The room also smelled funky and the curtains were moldy. In the morning there was no fruit and we found ourselves with no toiletteries except for shampoo (no lotion, conditioner etc). Pretty good value for the 70 dollars that we spent. Room was pretty clean, microwave & fridge in the room. The bathroom was rather small, but the room was a decent size. The hallway had a musty smell to it, but the room didn't smell. The breakfast was great for us. more

We stayed at the Hotel during the Nascar Race. It was very clean, beds were comfortable ( brand new mattresses) The pool was nice and clean.
