The staff and service were impeccable...the food was awful... I travel a lot and like to explore new cities, however this hotel seems to be in bad part of the city, with not a lot of other places to explore nearby. So my restaurant choices were limited to the hotel, which was a sports bar. Now, I love pub food... More

Stayed at the Marriot Richmond for a business trip. Got a room on the Concierge level. The room was well kept, very clean, Concierge lounge was excellent, and staff was very friendly and made you feel like a pampered guest. Will gladly stay again next time in Richmond. Everyone from the front desk to Concierge lounge went out of their... More

Myself and three other nurses stayed at the Marriott for the Virginia Patient Safety Conference. The staff are excellent : extremely motivated and kind. One gentleman especially , I believe his name was Suri, from Nigeria: so friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Always a very nice stay with very friendly staff. It is a quick walk to the capitol building which is very beneficial for me. The rooms are very nice, Marriott standard. They could be a little bit bigger. Only negative is LAST year my ray-bans were stole out of my car by the valet service.

We stayed for 2 nights for events at The Coliseum. Overall, the staff was attentive and polite. But like a lot of similar grade hotels, little details need more attention. Odd details like... newer toilet paper rolls are often 1/2 inch more narrow; but the toilet paper holder can't handle this, so the TP falls out of the holder constantly.... More

The hotel is just steps away from the Convention Center where our business meeting was held. That was fabulous! The staff very nice. However, the bathroom was tiny in my 12th floor room and the beds are NOT queen size, which I was told they were when I called the hotel. It truly does make a difference if you are... More

We attended a cheer competition at the convention center and chose to stay at the Marriott. The check in staff was great and checking out was even easier. I am a Marriott rewards member and this made these processes even easier. We chose to have room service for breakfast and it was right on time, very good quality and a... More

I requested two beds for my family and expected them to be queens for the cost of $255 a night. Nope. They were doubles and two adults could barely sleep comfortably in them together. Other than that the Marriott is nice and clean. Very modern with large rooms on the 18th floor. Bathroom is large and modern. The cost is... More

We stayed at the Marriott for a getaway weekend. It was comfortable, friendly and a good value for the cost. Since I'm a gold member, we had access to the Concierge lounge for breakfast. The breakfast was great with multiple food choices which were delicious and plentiful. I would definitely stay there again.
