The rooms were what one usually see at a Hyatt Place - spacious with a nice 42" flat screen TV and comfortable beds including the sofa bed. Nice little kitchen area with mini-fridge but surprised to not find a microwave. The service was disappointing from what appeared to be an overworked staff due to rooms being filled with some sporting... More

I booked this hotel for myself and several family members as we were in town for my nephew's graduation. Upon entering the hotel, the first thing I noticed was that it smelled really good inside. I just couldn't help but notice that during my entire stay! I stayed in a room with my husband and 5 year old son. We... More

We stayed at this hotel (3 nights) for a swim meet at Collegiate School. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. They opened breakfast early for us which was great. The hotel is about three miles from the Chesterfield Mall but very convenient via highway to the pool so a good location for us. It is a Hyatt Place, so not... More

The rooms are very nice, and the staff is fun. They have a decent bar downstairs if you want a short list of cocktails, beer, or wine. The limited menu is nice. The exercise room as 2 treadmills, an elliptical trainer, and a bike. But there are 3 problems: 1) The breakfast is free but not very good, 2) they... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days as we came down to tour Richmond, va. Its actually off of the highway and if you want to drive into downtown Richmond you had to pay multiple tolls. The room we stayed in wasn't bad, fairly decent size. It had a newer flat screen tv with multiple hookups. The couch... More

We are members of the "Hyatt Family" but you would not know it from our stay. WE were given a room with a broken bed (we were moved the next day after we notified them). Note: the hotel was not full, so why were they even using this room? The breakfast is HORRIBLE. My "skillet sandwich" would break a tooth,... More

This was my second time here in three years. My first time was quite nice. I traveled with my mother for the holidays. Prior to arriving we both agreed that we were more excited about staying at the hotel than visiting family. When we arrived we were well past the 3pm check-in, yet our room was already reserved and there... More

We have stayed in this hotel before because it is so close to family. This time when I asked for the room to be defeathered I was told there was no housekeeping people available to change it out. They brought me new pillows, but they were feather, too. I sent an e-mail to the on-line site and got an answer... More

This is my second visit to a Hyatt Place hotel. My first visit was great so I was expecting the same caliber hotel, just in a different city. I of course used my fellow trip advisor's past review to help me decide on this particular hyatt place location. I'm not sure how long hyatt has been here, but you can... More

Nice hotel. We enjoyed the stay - nice amenities, safe and convenient. One thing to remember - on the way from/to hotel, one passes couple of tollbooths, where no attendant i available during night hours (I believe 10 PM to 6 AM), so if you are arriving/leaving during these hours then keep some quarters and dimes handy.
