Our family in 1914 came from Castellammare del Golfo to New York. Why they left this place I don't know ..... This hotel is beautiful, quaint and the owners two brothers make u feel right at home. It's clean, classic, authentic yet modern amenities . I would come here again no question !

Four friends stayed lhere on Februry 10th. It was difficult to reach in our rental car, the streets are narrow and lack indications. However, once we arrived there was free parking directly in front, a real bonus! Checkin was fast and easy. The rooms are big, elegant and very comfortable. The breakfast room upstairs is just as elegant. Breakfast is... More

Stayed here in April 2014 more because of its convenient location near Palermo Airport (20mins). After arriving late in the rain we checked in to our enormous room full of character. Very clean and with everything we needed. In the morning we discovered that Catellemare is a charming little fishing town, if only we had longer to explore the place.... More

We were very impressed with this hotel and would definitely return to it. It is elegant, clean and extremely pleasant. Two young men run the establishment and they are both very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet square bordered on one side by the primary school and the rooms at the front look out over the... More

As soon as we entered this hotel we felt a sense of peace and tranquility. It is a small family run place with a huge welcome. The rooms are spacial, clean and well furnished. The balcony overlooked the ocean to the right and mountains to the left. Breakfast is served on the terrace on the 3rd floor with wonderful views... More

By far, one of the loveliest hotels that we stayed in Sicily. Great location, walking distance from the beach, restaurants and entertainment. The rooms were large, clean, very European with lovely balconies, breakfast was served on terrace overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this Hotel. The staff was equally good, they were all polite and... More

We just came back from the trip in Sicily, which, I must say, is amazing. During our holiday, we spent one night in La Piazzetta hotel. We arrived in Castellammare del Golfo around 7 p.m. looking for a place to stay overnight and instinctively we had choosen this little yellow hotel placed in a small piazza, close to the turistic... A very pleasant small hotel, well located, in a town that's near several must-see places in northwestern Sicily. The hotel is not "fancy," but it's well run, and the young men who run it are very helpful. (Ask for a restaurant recommendation and take it!). Castellamare is an easy run from Palermo airport, and a quiet haven in a busy... More

Located in a small piazza, barely a stones throw from the sea front, this small hotel was a true find. It is owned (and run) by two very helpful and hard working young men who are putting a lot of work into its smooth running. The room we had ( a junior suite, overlooking the piazza) was very clean and... More

OK it's not high luxury, but comfortable enough although one or two strange plumbing noises during the night, and occasional passing traffic. Great service at reception and at breakfast, very friendly. No comfy lounge or bar area, so use it as a B&B and base for days out. Plenty of restaurants closeby, town centre a 5 minute walk away, as... More
