I've been visiting Stintino since the 70's and this Restaurant is by far the best place in Stintino and surroundings for fresh fish and Lobsters. The restaurant given the heritage get's the best fish availlable and if talking about lobsters well there is no comparison with any other place in town. No fancy food nor particular sauces. If you want... More

We arrived in Stintino and hadn't booked anywhere. We looked at rooms here and rooms at the Geranio Rosso. There was no competition. The room we had on the top floor came with it's own balcony and swing seat and views across the bay to die for. Sky TV, a good sized bathroom and a lovely firm bed and good... More

We stayed two nights in Silvestrino and were very happy with our choice. The hotel staff were welcoming, the room was clean and fresh and the location on the harbour was perfect. The room was airconditioned with a balcony onto the main street which provided a lovely evening spot to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the locals and... More

We had one terrible night here. Aboslutely not a 3 star hotel. Hostel Quality (*/**). Promised a babybed but in the end they didn't have one. We had to sleep in banana shaped, loose spring beds (3) with our 1,5 year old son. Didn't sleep at all. Price € 100,-- Sevice was very poor afterwards. We had to beg for... More

How can people sell a room like this to someone who is obviously on their holiday ? there is no other reason to be in Stintino. The hotel restaurant is now closed so they send you to another one which they own "Lu Fanali" i begin with Linguine alle sei vongole followed by swordfish steak which had been sliced with a... Excellent family run hotel in the middle of Stintino.Ask for a room with a balcony to sunbathe and watch the world go by in the street below (room 14) or pay a little bit extra and book the room on the top floor (room 25 - but six small flights of stairs and no lift) to benefit from a huge... More

Il Silvestrino is an absolutely lovely, family-run hotel and restaurant smack in the middle of the fishing village Stintino, on the northwest tip of Sardinia. Due to a variety of circumstances, the friend I was traveling with had to leave, so I was in Stintino for five days, alone, without a car (and I don't drive). Since it was off... More

Travelled to Stintino in July during a 10 day trip to Sardinia. A def must visit if you have a car and are able to make the 40 min drive from Alghero! The beaches in Stintino are fantastic and the sea is wonderful. Hotel Silvestrino is a magnificent place to stay! The hotel itself is nothing incredible, but rooms are... More

We loved our stay in Sardinia, beautiful beaches, great food and fantastic weather. We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Silvestrino, right in the centre of the little village of Stintino, in the North of the island, not faraway from the famous beach "La Pelosa". The room was clean and not too small, the main problem was the noise coming... More
