Stayed here for five nights during a conference, off-season. Most of the amenities were closed as the season was more or less over, but the restaurants that were opened were quite decent. The room was simple but cozy, and the service was OK. I would like to see the resort during season, as I can imagine that it is more... More

Desperately in need of a renovation. Rooms not touched for 20 years - chipped melamine. Nasty bathroom with poor sanitary facilities. Good spa, staff try hard with poor basics. 2 hours wait to get a technician to the room. Food good in the expensive places, very average otherwise. Good spa. Overall a huge disappointment. Definitely one to avoid unless you... More

Forte Village consists of many different kind of hotel rooms, apartments and bungalows. The Royal Pineta are the apartment blocks. Apartments have a small front porch and an open backporch shared with others in the u-shaped buildings. Not much privacy at all. Tiled floors makes the rooms *very* cold in off season. Close enough to main building (hotel), the pool... More

What a wonderful place to visit, staff are fantastic, beaches beautiful and not too busy. So many choices of food and dinning experiences, complemented by local wines and entertainment. Pools disappointing they are all salt water fed, so no so child friendly but once used to it plenty of choice and space. Room luxurious great air con, surroundings fab with... More

What a huge disapointment this resort was! We went to Forte Village in August for the the "Super Skills" rugby course (which in itself was fabulous and the raison d'etre and saving grace of the holiday), but the resort itself is ghastly. It's tired, full of surly nouveau riche russians rubbing shoulders with genteel middle class brits paying massively over... More

I stayed at Forte Village for a few days when I was there for work meetings and was lucky enough to be able to bring my wife with me. We were given a room on the first floor of the beautifully furnished Royal Pineta Hotel set in a magnificent pine wood. We really liked the restaurant where we had breakfast... More

We stayed in two connecting units in Royal Pineta. We were welcomed on arrival by the Manager who gave us a tour of the resort while the bags went to the rooms. We were impressed by the variety of restaurants and swimming pools, with the diving pools of particular interest to our children. Favourite restaurants were Pineta Buffet and La... More

We spent 4 days at the Forte village in June and stayed in the La Pineta hotel within the complex. My partner had a work conference here. The room was clean and tidy but very very dated and basic. It had a safe, and the basics you expect in a hotel room. The bathroom and shower fittings were not working... More

Like many others my family, the 2 of us and our 2 young sons (both under 4) had a fantastic holiday. We stayed in the Royal Pienta and it's was stunning, with adjoining rooms that were comfortable, private and clean it was a great base for our stay. There is nothing I can fault about our holiday and some of... More
