This was clean and comfortable and is in a good location to Pedernales State Park and the LBJ Ranch area as well as the gateway to the Texas Wine country. BW rooms are reasonably priced and includes a standard hot breakfast. Hotel grounds are very pleasant.

If you are only looking for someplace to sleep with little or no expectation of a quality room, this is the place for you. Bed was uncomfortable, linens scratchy, mismatched shower rings, average to below average accommodation. Breakfast was also very mediocre.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past but the maid service was less than to be desired. We stayed 2 nights and they beds were not made as usual. Both ice machines were broken and we were instructed to come to the office if we wanted ice. Per the signs on the ice machine.

After a terrible experience with a hotel down the street, we were delighted to experience clean rooms, friendly and efficient staff, and a very beautiful yard/garden area with a gazebo and beautifully maintained plantings. Will enjoy this place again and again.

This Best Western is an excellent hotel. This year was our third time staying there, and we will stay there again next year. The staff is friendly, and the location is perfect for where we are going. There is even a cute little restaurant you can walk to from the hotel.

Located right off of Highway 281. Hotel has good landscaping and appeared to be a park right next to the hotel. Clean rooms with good internet and TV reception. Didn't use pool but pool area secluded with trees around so that if you were sunning or swimming, others not in the pool area couldn't watch you.

Good hotel in a great location. Wineries, etc. Not cheap, but clean and nice staff. Good pool. Pretty good breakfast. Good firm bed. Internet a little weak. Beautiful area with lots to do. I recommend it highly for that immediate area.

For our anniversary we travelled through the Hill Country of Texas and spent 1 night in Johnson City., Was a pleasant stay, cheerful staff, great breakfast, and a nice hotel to start off our weekend excursion.

We would have comparison shopped if we had not been so tired and stressed with driving Houston. Room was noisy with people walking overhead all night (request top floor in future) It provided a good location to access the LBJ ranch the next day. Breakfast was nice.

Friendly, helpful staff. Average hotel. Thin towels. Sheets were clean, but had old stains and holes. Bed comfort was marginal. Old style tv. Refrigerator and Microwave. Shower temperature handle was broken off with sharp edges. Plenty of hot water. Park in front of your room. Good restaurant next door. Close to LBJ park.
