We would have comparison shopped if we had not been so tired and stressed with driving Houston. Room was noisy with people walking overhead all night (request top floor in future) It provided a good location to access the LBJ ranch the next day. Breakfast was nice.

Friendly, helpful staff. Average hotel. Thin towels. Sheets were clean, but had old stains and holes. Bed comfort was marginal. Old style tv. Refrigerator and Microwave. Shower temperature handle was broken off with sharp edges. Plenty of hot water. Park in front of your room. Good restaurant next door. Close to LBJ park.

The place was pleasant enough just too much money for what you get. It is a 1970ies hotel with outside hallways. The people were pleasant. The breakfast was so-so. They had too few people working breakfast and not much fruit was available. The waffle machine wasn't clean. It probably needed replacing. We arrived late, the office people were helpful.

front desk staff wore dirty stained clothing. Handicapped accessible door was kept locked, had to go around to the front desk to get it unlocked. this puts wheel chair guests in a bad situation in case of a fire. I was quoted one room rate over the phone, and upon checkout, a higher rate was charged. Explanation was that I... More

The accommodations are some of the worst I have booked - mattresses uncomfortable, towels very thin and dingy, pillows inadequate, breakfast a total waste - insufficient food, picked up before folks in line were served because of closing time - very poor quality yet charges for mid range motels; no elevator to 2nd floor

This chicken show was in Dripping Springs, TX. 25 minutes from there, we found a good hotel in Johnson City. Because the South by Southwest festival was going on in Austin, everything was full or cost too much to stay at. Got a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problems we had was the blanket was thin... More

it was a small hotel with a feeling of the older best western but undated to the modern times. the staff there was very pleasant and the purpose of the visit was to celebrate our 38 anniversary. we were even giving an anniversary gift when we departed. A great little hotel that deserves my highest praise even better than some... More

This was only hotel avail since we reserved late but overall it was a good stay. By the time we checked in the hotel was sold out for the night. Good hotel, not too much interaction with the staff, room was good overall.

We went to Johnson City to tour the lbj ranch and this seemed to be the best place to stay for the week end. The price was very good and it's location is ideal for going anywhere in the area. The room was clean and everything worked. The only thing i can see is the rooms need a little updating.... More
