My wife and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary at the Songbird and it turned out to be one of our best anniversaries ever. Our escape was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This was our first B&B, and I think we hit the jackpot on our first try. Truly a wonderful place to just getaway from it all. Thanks... More

My husband and I just got home from celebrating Valentines's Day here at this bed and breakfast. It is fabulous! Patti and Patrick have a done a superb job in making their place restful and peaceful. The bird sanctuary is awesome complete with a prayer garden with a beautiful cross in it. The Freedom Park which honors their son and... More

My family rented all 3 cabins over Thanksgiving and had an absolutely wonderful time. You are out a bit, but the scenery is simply beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast's were delicious. By the end of our 4 day stay we were very relaxed. The cabins were very cute, we felt right at home.

My husband and I spent my birthday weekend enjoying the serenity of this unique B&B. The quite, peaceful stillness broken with only the sounds of nature provided a much needed respite from the stresses of a busy life. Two lazy days of bird watching, photography, sketching, and writing were only briefly interrupted by a trip to visit a few area... More

Our cottage was delightfully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. You could spend the whole day on site, walking the trails, watching for wildlife and soaking in the peacefulness. Also a great home base for exploring the Hill Country which is what we did. Highly recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed several days here for our anniversary getaway. We stayed in the Chickedee cabin, which has a nice view of a meadow where deer congregate morning and evening. We're birders and liked the birding focus by the owners. Our stay was enjoyable, the breakfasts wonderful and the cabin very nice. The location worked well for us... More

My husband and I loved the property and the convenience to the wineries in the area. After the yummy breakfast served in our cottage we spent our days touring local vineyards in the area. Enjoyed every minute

I came up for an evening to reflect and face a bit of my past. As a veteran myself, it was with a heavy heart that I sat down at the memorial (the one established in memory of their son). But, full of emotion, it was a beautiful place. The kind of place I needed to help me find peace... More

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at Songbird Meadows and would definitely come back again. Patty and Pat were awesome hosts and whip up a fantastic picnic basket breakfast. The cottages were cute and comfy with access to hiking trails on the property and lots of benches. The location was perfect for getting to most of the Texas... More
