My family (3) needed a place to stay near/in Johnson City so that we could easily find and tour the vineyards and LBJ Ranch without having to go back into the crowded and often pricey areas near the towns of Fredericksburg and Stonewall. We were looking for a simple place and Chantilly Lace met our needs. We stayed in the... More

Sylvia and Porter are terrific innkeepers. They accommodated my husband and I in a lovely room by the upstairs veranda. We had called only moments before at 8PM when we decided to stay in Johnson City after a long day of driving. We had a superb breakfast and met some lovely guests in the breakfast room facing their back yard... More

We spent a long weekend at the Chantilly Lace Inn while participating in the Southwest Tandem Rally. Our carriage house cottage was sweet and the innkeeper, Porter, made us feel very welcome. Our favorite part was watching the dozens of hummingbirds enjoy breakfast outside the window in the sun room. Be sure to walk across the street and through the... More

We stayed at Chantilly Lace in the Carriage House Suite II for a weekend visit to Hill Country and 290 Wine Trail. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spotless, roomy and relaxing. The Inn is lovely, and we really enjoyed our absolutely fantastic breakfast both mornings prepared by the owners. The location was ideal for driving down... More

We were very satisfied with our stay at Chantilly Lace. We were welcomed and very comfortable. Our Room in the Carriage House Suite II was so spacious compared to a hotel room. we had all that we needed. When we took a walk on the property we encountered a deer who had lost it's mother and watch it as it... More

This was our first B & B experience and it could not have been better. The owners were accomodating and made us feel welcome. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. The inn is very close to restaurants and shops but located in a quiet area. We look forward... More

We came for a Valentine wine dinner at a winery in Johnson City, Chantilly Lace was recommended by the winery, we are very happy to know about this place. The rooms and cabins were very well appointed and comfortable. The breakfasts both mornings were wonderful. We will certainly stay here... More

We spent two lovely nights here while exploring the hill country. Sylvia and Porter were the most gracious and helpful of hosts. Well-traveled themselves, they spoke engagingly about their own experiences around the world, and were genuinely interested in ours. And they offered insightful recommendations about the full range of hill country experiences - recreational, historical, shopping and dining. Our... More

This was a repeat visit for me and a first visit for my friends on our "Girls' Weekend." As always, Sylvia and Porter were gracious and friendly, the rooms were spotless and the cabins adorable. We stayed in Carriage House II and the Lavender Cabin. We signed up for a soap making class that was very interesting and fun. As... More
