We recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Castello di Tavolara . The accommodation is what you would expect from a Mediterranean holiday resort hotel and for us there were just a couple of negatives. Firstly, we could have done with a chest of drawers as there was only a wardrobe, and drawer space was minimal, and secondly... More

A good quality hotel, within walking distance of the sand and shingle beach. Guests are able to borrow parasols and sun beds (if available) for the beach, however hire is available on the beach for 15 €. The hotel provides a breakfast of cereal, hams, cheeses, bread, yogurts, fruit and cakes. On two occasions we saw fried eggs but perhaps on... More

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel in a clean triple room with comfortable beds and air conditioning. There is not much place for three people in the room, but the bathroom had a decent size. The hotel is not near the beach, you need a 5 min stroll to get there. At the hotel entrance the guests could... More

This hotel was such a great place to stay as a hub for our Sardinian honeymoon! We drove to nearby beaches like Cala Brandinchi in San Teodoro. The best restaurant in San Paolo, Il Portolano, is right behind the hotel. Hotel staff Matteo & Oreste were so kind & helpful! Great breakfast, caffe, gelato & more - right downstairs. Just... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an economy room. It was nicely decorated, however, a bit too crowded. Some of the furniture could easily be removed (like the desk & chair), and instead give more space for your luggage, and to move around.

We loved everything about this hotel. It's located very close to the small beach. There are few nice restaurant around and the best pizza just beside the hotel in restaurant Cala Junco. Oreste is very helpful bartender and makes great coctails. All the staff is very nice and friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. I read here that people... More

We stayed here the night before our ferry back to the mainland and wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel and area. The hotel was charming and clean and best of all run by a warm and welcoming family. There is a beach just minutes away by foot and plenty of restaurants just steps away from the hotel.... More

This hotel was the friendliest and cleanest that we could have wished for. Our daughter found the hotel for us, knowing how important it was for us to feel welcome and relaxed as it was our first proper holiday together for many years, and it was the perfect choice. All the staff were so friendly and went the extra mile... More
