It's perfect to stay in this hotel if you are attending a conference in the building, as it's convenient and the room rate is relatively cheap. Also the location is great, just a few minutes walk to downtown, Bridge St, views of the water, etc. However, there were a few major problems. The room - while super spacious - was... More

I've been coming up to the Lowell area for several years to see one particular client and, for years, stayed at one of the chain hotels. Last year they were all booked so I decided to try the conference center. I don't know what the history here is. Is it part of the UMass dorms? Is it strictly for conferences?... More

Centrally-located with plenty of shops and restaurants in the area, the Inn is a good deal, but not a great one. The staff was wonderful, if a bit slow, but the rooms are average. My bed, while quite comfortable, had a real slope to it. The A/C was very good, maintaining the temperature we wanted, the hot water was good... More

The only good thing about the hotel was the front desk person Ariel, she was awesome. Apparently my room was in the former dormitory part of the hotel. the beds were okay but the doors had faulty locks. I did not feel safe at all. the staff was telling me about all of the heroin use that goes on in... More

It is located in the downtown area. The dining room was good, the service okay. Walking distance to shopping, museums, restaurant and nightlife. We had a suite that was well appointed and a nice large size.

The hotel itself could use some updates and one is currently in progress where the restaurant is undergoing construction. The rooms are reasonable although nothing fancy. Still, room service seems okay and overall friendliness is good. Don't expect extraordinary service and you'll be fine. The location in downtown makes it easy to reach basically any restaurant by foot. That's the... More

Wow! This hotel exceeded my expectations! I made a reservation on Wednesday for Friday & Saturday night. Spoke to Liz on the phone who said they could get me into 2 different rooms but I would have to switch. I said OK because we had to be in the area and this hotel was closest to the dance competition. When... More

The hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. I had a few interactions with Lizzette from the front desk. She has a perfect understanding of what hospitality is. The room was very basic but very large and clean, perfect for a 6 year old to burn off some energy! The only negative was breakfast at the in house restaurant. The one... More

I have a week long reservation, but had to switch rooms due to the shower not draining a draft in the room and on top of that a broken heater. The next room I switched to was much smaller then the first and the remote for the tv did not work. On the second day in that room I requested... More

My wife attended an academic conference that paid for the room. I drove up from Rhode Island to join her on Friday night. Parking is free. The decor is Dated Modern. The pricey restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we never saw anyone there. Our room was large with below-average space utilization. The low that night was... More

Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us in January. I was glad to hear that you had the opportunity to experience this walking city with its vibrant theater, musuem and historic districts. In regard to the guest rooms, we have had an especially cold winter and our canal-facing rooms with their floor to ceiling windows take a... More
