Cala Gonone is itself a stunning oasis-but Hotel L'Oasi was absolutely divine, especially waking up to that view!! The hotel was clean and the owners were extremely gracious and helpful. Could not recommend more! Also a very progressive eco-profile.

We left L'Oasi this morning after standing on our balcony watching the sun rise from the sea before going to get our mid morning flight back from Olbia. It is hard not to stay in a hotel with a beautiful setting in Cala Gonone but this one is very special. Perched on the cliffside above the town it has even... More

This is an extremely friendly family run hotel and an oasis indeed in this unspoilt area of Sardinia's south east coast. The terrace overlooks the sea with a long view of the coastline and the rooms are spread through the grounds with gardens sloping down the cliff-side. Short walk to the local port for boat trips (quite steep on the... More

My husband and I enjoyed our 4-night stay at Hotel L’Oasi (July 2014). The hotel is not modern and it has its quirks, but it’s pleasant nonetheless. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The area is quiet. The rooms are clean and have everything you need to be comfortable. The free breakfast selection is great. But the best part... More

Spent three nights (July 2014) in this lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very accommodating. Room was clean & comfortable. Hotel is perched high & oversees the town of Cala Gonone & has a great view of the Tyrrhenian Sea & Bue Marino caves. No need for a car unless you wish to visit sites out of town. After... More

The hotel is located on the edge of Cala Ganone on the hilltop - hence the fantastic views. The hotel itself is from the 70s and the design reflects that. It could be very nice after a serious refurbishment. The problem with the room was that one can hear the neighbours - even in April when it is low-season. Otherwise,... More

My husband and I stayed here in September and had a very nice experience. The staff was very friendly (and patient with my beginner Italian) and the terrace where the restaurant is located has absolutely breathtaking views. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the hotel's very nice breakfast or a glass of wine before heading to dinner. The room... More

Another hotel with a wonderful view. Not sure if it's possible to stay in a hotel in Sardinia that doesn't have a great view. Views galore from our room and the breakfast terrace. Our room was large and clean air con a necessity especially in mid August when we were there. Breakfast was plentiful with cakes, pastries, yoghurt, cereal, fruit,... More

The hotel is really nice, service is excellent, the view from the breakfast terrace is absolutely devine.Very quiet, very clean. Price is good considering Sardinian prices. The only backdrop is that you need to walk up the hill to go back from downtown and it is really effort demanding but that is the reason why the view is so fantastic.

Stayed for 5 nights at the end of June, excellent value, great location, very friendly staff. Room comfortable. Lovely spot for eating breakfast and evening meals. Great to see the staff going to the herb garden to fetch fresh produce for the evening meal. Great place to use as a base for exploring the area
