Enjoyed staying at this hotel last week the rooms are very well designed with matching bedding, towels and headboards etc - staff are very friendly and made lots of effort to please. Would go again if it wasn't in Sardinia but really didn't like the town. Definitely hire a boat was the highlight of the 4 days, and unfortunately we... More

The place itself and especially the bay are incredibly beautiful. The hotel also looks charming and fits perfectly into the landscape. Room was really spacious and had cosy vintage furniture. We really liked the breakfast and the swimming pool, plus the staff was helpful in organising trips and transfers for all the guests.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment is very clean and the beds are good. Swimming pool area looks nice and is kept very clean. We had a lovely stay except for one thing: we had half-board which meant that we had dinner there every night. The food which they serve there is awful to say the least. Pees... More

I celebrated my 60th birthday with friends from New Zealand and everybody positively commented on this fabulous resort. Well priced with a fantastic buffet breakfast, attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. Visited in the late September season and had just a half filled resort that made the experience even nicer. Just a stroll to a sea swim if you wish for... More

We spent 5 nights in san pantaleo then drove here for 3 nights. On arrival the hotel looked great, big rooms and an amazing pool, huge, warm with plenty of sun loungers. The location is great, with a 5 minute stroll down to the Main Street where all the restaurants are... Although remember it is uphill after dinner! I was... More

This was my first time in Cala Gonone and in Sardinia. Hotel Nuraghe Arvu provided a perfect base. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The room (a superior double) had a beautiful view of the pool and sea, and it's balcony with table and chairs gave us an idyllic setting for a glass of prosecco each night. The pool... More

The rooms would deserve 3 stars, rather than 4: the bathrooms, in particular, are below standards. The restaurant is good and fairly priced. The staff is definitely not up to standards: maybe they should hire more people?

This was our third time at the same resort – never happened before. This time, as previous, we had a wonderful and relaxing time, enjoying the assorted breakfast, the lovely surroundings, the in-house excellent wine and the hospitality of the owner and the always smiling and helpful staff.
