Went to Isola Rossa in Bosa as a bit of a last resort as the hotel we'd booked fell through, last minute. We weren't looking for a seaside resort but a place to relax near the pool and get some reading done as well as a place where you could go out at night with something going on. The hotel... More

Bosa town and Bosa Marina are charming. A lovely beach, great restaurants very authentic. Not your usual tourist area. The hotel was great. So clean and cool.A big pool very nicely kept. Our room was big with a kitchenette and couch in. I asked for a balcony with view of pool or sea, and thats what we got.The staff were very helpful... Went as a couple and stayed 6 days. Highly recommended. I agree with other reviewers in most things, so I’m not going to repeat what they’ve said. The bedroom and shower room were clean and spacious, but a bit short on hanging and storage space. We stayed bed and breakfast, but still had use of the fridge – useful for... More

We stayed here for three nights whilst exploring this part of the west coast. From the hotel it's a 45 minute drive to Alghero and about the same down to the Sinis peninsula so a good location. Bosa itself is a bit run down in the modern sections, so it's quite nice to be on the marina instead, and although... More

The location of this hotel was a little offputting at first. The address was incorrect in the trip advisor app so we arrived at the wrong street using the iphone GPS to guide us. After walking around in searing heat, we eventually found the place, which is built on a grassy area, a bit removed from the rest of the... More

The manager went out of his way to help us. Our car hire co let us down. The manager lent us his laptop, drove us to the bus, organised alternative transport...amazin. The residence was spotless a good pool, a 3 min walk to the beach and 15/20min walk to Bosa along river. Lovely place very peaceful.

We have just returned from our first trip to Sardinia. We stayed at the hotel Isola Rossa and thoroughly enjoyed the week we had there after the initial disapointment of seeing our room (115). I had booked the standard room knowing that the balcony would be showing not a sea view but a view of the local ruined tower because... More

This is a good place to stay if you are travelling with young children. You can book a room or an apartment. The pool area is small as is the pool itself. But kids can splash in the water and play football or tag on the lawn. The water in the pool tends not to be deep. The people who... More

Just come back from Sardinia, where we had 4 nights here. Apart from a few other couples and one small family we had the place to ourselves. The receptionist was very helpful and nothing was any trouble. The pool was clean,a little small, but again really empty of people. Rooms were excellent in this new hotel, so if you are going... Stayed at this newly opened hotel for a few days at the beginning of July 2006. Could only find 3* hotels in Bosa, so wasn't expecting too much. However, the hotel which only opened two months ago was very comfortable and clean, and the pool area was empty. The area around the hotel is a little scrubby, and you have... More
